  1. May not be economical (re gasoline) but good nonetheless you guys are doing this now. RV lifestyle will be impossible in the near future with mandatory electric cars which simply will not work for such great distances and will not hold up in frigid temperatures.

  2. Congrats on your purchase – it looks perfect! Keen to watch your RV adventures! Especially how Bear handles the travel. We have 2 lab sisters – Lola White and Lindsay Brown that we hope to do some small trips in a caravan with in the near future. So, this is perfect timing. 🙃

  3. You go to Toilets in some buldings on your way ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅

  4. Have you been watching House Hunters Mandy? Love your kitchen and can’t wait to see some of the US. Only been to a small part of it. I travelled and forgot to have children but I can look back on those places I visited and sometimes worked (not digitally of course) and I am thankful but now I am older I wish I had family to care for me. That also doesn’t always work out. Follow your heart.

  5. Are you 2 done traveling for awhile. That van will test your marriage. If u can handle being together in a small space for a long time u will know what true love is. I wish u both all the best I enjoy watching your channel

  6. You have a great new home guys. I’m envious. We used to have a caravan in England but have not RV’d in over 25 years since moving to Canada but would love to buy one to travel the East coast where we now live. Once you hit the warmer weather, you will be able to sit outside and bbq, making your home feel bigger. Enjoy your new life and we’ll RV vicariously through your channel 😊

  7. Advice from a couple who RV’d across Canada and U.S.!
    My top tips…..
-Get disposable gloves for every time you touch your sewer hose. You don’t want to use the same gloves. EVER.
-Get a level, and always make sure you’re level every time you park. If you’re parking and not level and can’t or don’t want to make it level…shut your fridge off. The fridge depends on you moving/shaking, or being level. Shut it off if it’s parked and not level (within reason, try to be as level as possible). If you keep your fridge door closed it acts like a cooler and will keep every cold for like 5 or 6 hours or so, don’t be nervous about shutting it off in a sloped area while you go away for a few hours.
-use paper plates for dinner, then toss in the fire pit. Less dishes.
-lubricate all your outer sealing rubbers near windows, doors, etc. Canadian tire RV section actually has everything you need for RV’ing including that spray lubricant (I forget the name). Keeps the rubber from cracking.
-Never travel long distances with a bunch of water in the water tank. It’s heavy on gas. Just a little for the rare hand washing or quick toilet flush. You’ll always find somewhere to fill up with water in Canada and U.S.
-get a little tool kit and once a week check for loose screws, random looseness, etc. All that moving/vibration makes things loose. Stay on top of it as part of a habit.
-when long distance driving, don’t bother trying to time the slopes to save on gas (speeding up on downhills and slowing down for the uphills). I’ve tested this across Canada/U.S. the difference in gas usage is almost nothing. Not worth the effort, just relax enjoy the ride and keep somewhat the same speed unless really steep.
    – Looking back 10 years from now, you’re gonna remember the little annoyances, flat tire, overheated engine, weird neighborhoods…these are the memories…have fun with them…don’t get upset or stressed too much. Have fun.
-check your wheel lug nuts for tightness once a week.
-get a piece of sandpaper to clean your ignition sensor once a week for your furnace/hot water tank. YouTube it, couple screws to get it loose. This is a main cause for a fridge not firing up. Too much carbon on the sensor.
-when your backing him up with the RV, use your phones to talk
-keep an outdoor kit readily available on an outdoor storage area for every time you park. (Bug spray, flashlight, sewer disposable gloves, lighter, headlamp, etc.
    -Most importantly, ENJOY!!!!
Next thing you know you’ll be 50 and looking back on how fun this all was 😊

  8. Hi guys 👋 love watching your journeys your new home is awesome 😊 the ladder that goes up to the top that is there only for maintenance on top you Do Not want to sit up there the roofs aren't made for that you don't want any issues with roof just an FYI 👋👍

  9. Thanks for your videos… I hope you enjoy all the freedom your camper brings… particularly as travellers with having an animal. Your RV might not be your forever home, and is far from perfect and doesn't have a certain stability to it, on the other hand it can be very good for the soul, and you will have access to so many adventures, and bringing your home to distant places has numerous advantages as a traveller. If I need to watch my money, I like staying at places for longer periods.

  10. I wouldn't go on the roof unless you have to . Mostly to clean and inspect your seal . Not sturdy for lounging.

  11. A lot of people park their RV in front of our building here in Savannah since it is free, there are wide streets and it is an ideal location to see one of the most beautiful, historic and dog friendly cities in the US. The kicker is you get some incredible tour guides waiting to show you around and even lend their (very large) shower and other amenities if you want a change from RV living. Manifestation alert: see you soon!

  12. For me living in an RV at this stage of our life is not an option as our old female labrador, about 13 , it would be too much for her. Ben, the male 4, would be happy as long as he was with us. But living here in Tasmania, is as close to our view of paradise as we can get. 4 seasons, hot summers, cold winters with snow, Autumn and spring just beautiful and the wilderness areas in Tasmania are magic, but we travelled a lot when we were younger. X We can now live through people life yourselves and see things we could never afford to see. Thank you.

  13. The RV is great – honestly, I couldn't do it but I look forward to seeing your adventures and your upcoming Reno.

  14. G'day Lloyd and Mandy…has been a while since I posted a comment, but assure you both, I've been keeping up to speed with your move from Playa Del Carmen to your new digs in Vancouver Canada. WOW, what a city and I especially enjoyed your vlog from Granville Island, a pretty dam cool place, and your vlog from Whistler was also top notch! Getting back onto the snow boards was a bit like riding a bike, once you've mastered it, you don't really forget, great turn of foot from you both. Your RV looks pretty neat, hope you settle in and really enjoy the lifestyle. As mentioned in some of my previous comments when you were in Mexico, your presentations are ALWAYS top class, so I will continue to follow you and enjoy and "share your future"…by the way, I'm finally heading back to Bali, first time in almost 4 years following the Covid period….cheers Gaz(WA)😎

  15. ….forgot to mention my favourite digital nomad dog, Bear, ruffle him behind his ears for me please!!

  16. Good for you guys! I think this is going to be an awesome amazing journey for you. You will look back when you are older and say – yeah we did that and be so happy that you did! You are truly living and that is something that we all need to do more of ♥️♥️

  17. U2 have provided both amazing and informative content, no chance you'll lose us as followers! We also plan to do a couple years of RVing after globetrotting for 3 4 5 years, and I'm sure you will provide as much inspiration and source of fun with this chapter… Be safe & keep living your best lives 🌎 JohnAndTeriJustGo (29 days til we launch 🚀)

  18. We learn something new with each video. You have the best life. Don’t overthink it. Make your own time table. Safe travels. We’ll be watching. ❤️

  19. Living the life…. good on you guys. We'll it's sunny and cold down in Melbourne.
Wish I had of done this in my younger days. After 50 life slows down but so do your energy levels.
Live it up guys while you can, you've got this travelling thing sussed.
