I returned for a three-day stay at Asari House, a traditional Japanese guesthouse in Shimane where two Shiba Inus live. I returned to Asari House to see Mer-kun and Pino-kun, the two lovely Shiba Inu hosts I met last year. This time, I stayed for three days and two nights 🐕🐕
Mer-kun and Pino-kun seemed to remember me and were incredibly affectionate from the moment I arrived. Mer-kun was especially loving, so be sure to watch for his sweet behavior 🐶
We enjoyed morning and evening walks together by the sea and through a nearby park. At night, they even came to sleep beside me again. Spending so much peaceful time with them made this visit feel even more special than the last.
I also visited nearby Yunotsu Onsen and tried cooking rice in a traditional kama pot and grilling food on a ceramic plate inside the 130-year-old traditional house.
I hope you enjoy these three happy days with Mer-kun and Pino-kun, surrounded by the peaceful scenery of Shimane in western Japan.

I love the red and white colours in the Shiba Inu. It gives the face of the dog a distinct fox like feature which is so cool 😎🤩🙌 Pino-chan sure was affectionate and such a sook as she slept with you all snuggled up 🥰😍🥹 Great to see them all energetic and enjoying their zoomies too 😂🤣 I was half expecting Mer-kun and Pino-chan to go play on the slide at the playground when they were out for a walk 🤭🤭🤣
