花園公園の出口からまっすぐ続く公園通りを歩きました。朝の光に包まれて、道路までもが輝いて見える時間帯です。花銀通りまで続くこのまっすぐな道は、Googleマップで確認すると「公園通り」という名前がついていました。

この日は途中で少し寄り道もしています。TikTokの視聴者さんから「パチンコイーグルの裏にある立派な家が気になります、空き家のようなので次回見てきてください」とリクエストをいただき、撮影してきました。緑に囲まれた洋風のおしゃれなおうちで、こんな町中に立派な物件があったのかと驚きました。視聴者さんの声のおかげで、自分だけでは気づけなかった小樽の一面を見つけることができました。

花銀通りの手前まで歩いて、今日のおさんぽはおしまいです。

This morning walk begins right at the exit of Hanazono Park, following a long, straight road that locals call Koen-dori. Early sunlight caught the pavement in a way that made even the road itself seem to glow.

Partway through, we took a small detour. A TikTok viewer had asked us to check out a house tucked behind the Pachinko Eagle — a striking Western-style home surrounded by greenery, seemingly empty and possibly for sale. It’s the kind of hidden corner of Otaru we might never have noticed on our own, discovered only because someone was watching closely and cared enough to ask.

The walk continues along Koen-dori until just before it meets Hanagin-dori, where this morning’s stroll comes to a close.
