This 4K POV drive takes you deep into the Qinba Mountains of southern Shaanxi, from Zhenping County, Ankang, toward Jixinling — one of the most unique border landmarks in China.

Jixinling is located at the meeting point of Shaanxi, Chongqing, and Hubei. In Chinese, it is often described as a place where “one step crosses three regions.” Because it lies near the heart position of China’s rooster-shaped map, it is also known as China’s “Natural National Heart.”

The journey follows G541 National Highway from Zhenping County toward the Jixinling border archway. Along the way, the road climbs through remote mountain valleys, forested slopes, sharp bends, and quiet villages hidden between the Daba Mountains. The elevation rises from around 891 meters to 1,556 meters, giving the route a strong sense of climbing from southern Shaanxi into a dramatic highland border zone.

This area is not only geographically special, but also historically important. Jixinling has long been a mountain pass between different regions of China. Ancient salt routes once passed through this area, linking the mountains of Shaanxi, Chongqing, and Hubei. Old military remains, ancient paths, border legends, and local mountain culture all give this road a deeper historical atmosphere.

Today, this drive is a rare chance to experience a quiet but powerful corner of China — a place where Northwest China, Southwest China, and Central China seem to meet in the same mountain landscape.
