宮城県登米市の「みやぎの明治村」を、約10分の動画でゆっくりと巡ります。
明治時代の建物が、町ごと残されているこの場所を、冬の青空のもとで歩いてきました。

・警察資料館（旧登米警察署庁舎／明治22年・県指定有形文化財）
・水沢県庁記念館（明治5年／治安裁判所法廷は日本で唯一現存）
・登米懐古館・春蘭亭（武家屋敷）
・森舞台（隈研吾氏設計／平成8年・日本建築学会賞）
・武家屋敷通り

🏛️ 見どころ
教育資料館と警察資料館は、いずれも明治の名工・山添喜三郎の設計。
ヨーロッパで洋風建築を学んだ山添の傑作が、いまも美しく残されています。

水沢県庁記念館には、日本で唯一現存する「治安裁判所の法廷」も。

そして最後に訪れたのは、建築家・隈研吾氏が設計した「森舞台」。
緑の森に囲まれた能の舞台は、伝統と現代が見事に融合した名建築です。
鏡板の老松は、日本画家・千住博氏の作。

A 10-minute quiet walk through “Miyagi’s Meiji Village” in Tome City. Meiji-era buildings still stand here as a whole town, beneath the clear winter sky.

🏛️ Highlights
Both the Education and Police Resource Halls were designed by Kisaburo Yamazoe, a master craftsman who studied Western architecture in Europe. His Meiji-era masterpieces remain beautifully preserved.

The Mizusawa Prefectural Office Hall houses the only surviving Peace Court chamber in Japan — a rare historical treasure.

The final stop is the Forest Stage — a Noh stage by architect Kengo Kuma. The old pine on the back panel was painted by Japanese artist Hiroshi Senju.
