SHORT AIREDALE TERRIER DESCRIPTION:
The Airedale Terrier is known as the “king of terriers” partly for his size. They range in height about 23 inches and in weight from 45 pounds for a small female, to 70 pounds for a large male (20 to 32 kilograms).
The Airedale Terrier is a neat, upstanding, long-legged terrier, not exaggerated in any way. This breed has strong round bone and combines strength and agility. The coat is hard, dense, and wiry; it lies straight and close, with some hair crinkling or waving.
SHORT WELSH TERRIER DESCRIPTION:
Weighing in at 20 to 22 pounds, the Welsh is an independent, somewhat stubborn breed. He’s extremely cute as a puppy and seems to know just how to work that cuteness to get his own way. But what’s adorable in a ball of fur you can hold in your hand turns into tyranny in an adult dog, so be careful not to spoil your little charmer.
The compact Welsh Terrier, who looks like a miniature Airedale, is steadier, more sensible, and less excitable than some terriers, yet still full of energy and drive. The Welsh Terrier does best with active owners who are confident and consistent, for he has a marked independent streak and will take advantage if indulged.
SHORT LAKELAND TERRIER DESCRIPTION:
The Lakeland Terrier is a rather small dog of short-backed, square proportion, with a sturdy, workmanlike build. The Lakeland Terrier’s expression reflects moods ranging from intense to impish. The double coat consists of a soft undercoat and a hard, wiry outer coat.
Like all terrier breeds, the Lakeland is a fearless dog with a heart of gold. They love to run and chase and thrive on outdoor activity, and will play with the zeal of a puppy, even as an adult. Lakelands are good family dogs and enjoy the company of older, well behaved children.

Im on to Airedale no3. Just the most beautiful, freindly, manipulative, daft crafty, funny, greedy, sociable dogs Ive ever owned or met. I learnt in time, you dont own an Airedale, he just graces your presence. Theres times I feel like his butler. But what you get back is priceless in uncon ditional loyalty. Im bias but I Iove em. Bawled my eyes out when the last two passed on. Not crowned 'King of the Terriers' for nothing.
20 Jahre lang Airedales…5. Airedale… Es sind die besten Hunde und ich will auch keinen anderen Hund haben.
Airedale live on a farm.i would not want him in a apartment hes robin Williams plus dave Chappell on Crack love him
Airda
Airda
Airedale is by far the easiest terrier. They are also the breed with the best temperament and highest intelligence. Beware. it's a beast as a young dog and it loves to dig.
Got a two years old welshie, worst decision of my life
I train dogs for protection work and high level obedience training etc. I need a dog that isn’t the typical protection dog and I think the Airedale terrier is the one. My aunt had an Airedale named pickles when I was a kid and I have always loved the breed.
Airedales are easier then the other two. My dog is an Airedale he requires hours of flat out legging it through woodland everyday. Never on a lead they will eat your sofa if they can not run. They are full on and do not calm down. Do not purchase an Airedale unless you are an athletic individual with lots of space. The Lakeland has evolved to kill since the 11th century they will do just that unless you know how to keep them under control they are a handful and then some.
Your accent is unbearable bro . And the video is pointless
Thanks for the definitions. Why do I feel like you are going to pledge your allegiance to Viggo The Carpathian?
Airedale Terrier is my favorite
I would love them all but we have an Airedale so im biased Our Teddy is a beautiful boy and love attention especially from women i enjoyed your video thank you
We have a red Lakeland, she is awesome!
I took my 2nd Airedale, Henry, to obedience classes; he did everything, every exercise right the first time & then laid down & refused on the repetitions…
Hail to the King!
We have two airdale/ heeler mix pups. They're the best, most friendliest, sweetest girls ever. Very intelligent pups.
i have a mix of welsh and german terriers (father was welsh, mother was german jagdt terrier), and my dog looks likr welsh, but his colour is like jagdterrier. he's a nice, lovely and very peacefull but doesn't tolerant any dogs in his enviroment:)
Harley, five years old, is our 3rd Airedale. we live in a hot southern climate, but she has adapted well. She'll walk between 3-5 miles per day, and our area has plenty of wildlife (deer, squirrels, etc) to keep her engaged. All terriers will dig, and my Harley will up-root small plants, so we supervise garden time. She's fearless, and will stand her ground against any dog, but she is not aggressive. She actually is amused when other dogs try to provoke her; getting her angry would be a mistake. She's wonderful.
I've had all 3 all are great
Great video
