Shocked by that GSD. I thought it would have been accepted now that the sloping topline isn't good for the animal's welfare.
Again not available in Ireland? What?
Lovely bearded collie
I'm not sure where these so-called dog experts get their info from, but to say the Rough Collie is a very popular breed is utter twaddle. Rough Collies have become very uncommon and are seldom seen today, you'd be lucky to come across one in your area. I think they have dwindled in popularity; I actually don't think they were ever that popular in the first place even when the film Lassie brought them into the public arena. I have a Rough Collie, and when I'm out for a walk with it and chance upon a fellow dog walker, 9 times out of 10 they always say to me: "you don't see many of these around nowadays do you? ". Just shows they are anything but popular.
Loved the Pyr!! Should of won haha beautiful dog
In the beginning they said that the dogs are all bred for the same purpose so they all have roughly the same sort of shape. (bred for a purpose and that being the optimal shape) but the one that so vastly shies away from it is the german shepherd shape. I get that they're going for a long trot, which is what they've got, but its not a purpose. A dog isn't bred to only trot. These are purpose dogs, working dogs. Its gotta turn, canter, stop, go, and have a healthy long term life.
I feel that the German shepherd is bred to trot without a care for anything else.
That German Shepherd Dog was shocking, I don't care if that's the official breed standard, the sloping back makes it look ill-like it's back legs have been hit by a car. The majority of GSDS of this standard also suffer from back injuries and spinal problems in later life.
I had a German Shepperd that passed away this year at a ripe age of 11. The only time she had a sloped back was when she started developing hip problems or when she was laying on the concrete for too long and her muscles would crap up. Those times she was literally dragging her feet on the ground but she always straightened out to a level back.
I'm so glad my parents bought her from a farm and not one of these stupid show breeders otherwise I doubt she would of lived as long or as happily. It's disgusting to see a dog that can't stand straight and looks like it's in constant pain.
So happy to see a pembroke welsh corgi with a tail in show! 🙂
Ohh the poor malinois, so nervous 🙁 And serisously people! Haven't we developed enough as a community to finally realize that GSD's should not have a sloping topline like that, it's disgusting! If any other breed looked like that you'd think they had been bred in a puppy mill… Breeding should be firstly about the health and temperament of the dog, the looks come second!
That Finnish Lapphund looks awesome
My heart broke for that Malinois. Absolutely terrified to be there.
I don't mind a small slope on a GSD back, but that spine curved upwards and then down. Not at all natural.
There is such large difference between the spine of show GSD and a police dog GSD!
Rough collie was the best
Type Your Favorite Dog Breed! Mine Is The Bloodhound!
The Border collie was the best

How beautiful was the daughter of Zamp vom Thermodos? What a wonderful girl, top Line ! Great Job!
Do NOT like the Rough Collie. It DOESN'T have a Collie head. It looks MORE like a Sheltie. I've had 3 collies and I'm glad they didn't look like THAT.
Muito bom 👏👏👏👏👏
