It kills me how she tosses that pillow in there and he goes right to it. They take each other's cue and it's so cute. His owner is such a keen observer. She has done a great job in sharing what she sees with the world.
I'm a bit sad as I'm starting to see Maru is getting old. He's not old, but he's going in that direction. I had a cat like that. When he got really old, he would walk somewhere determinately, then stop, pause, and then not know where he wanted to go. He'd forgotten. So he would wait several seconds, then decide he couldn't just stay there frozen forever, and hesitantly go somewhere, not quite with the step and confidence he'd had half-a-minute ago. I love him still, and Maru too.
I wonder if you get visits from macaques often, or if this is a rare event. I know they can be a nuisance at times in some areas, but they are entertaining to watch.
One of the great bummers of living in North America is no monkeys. However I get the feeling that people living with/near monkeys might feel differently.

猫のことは飼ってるくらいでそこまで詳しくないけど、ふりふりはブチギレ前の予備動作と認識してる。
調べたことないけど違うのかな？
俺的に、尻尾ふりふりしてるところは『あー…早くこいつらぶっころしてぇー…』って風に見えたよw
