  1. I rescued a Bombay kitten off the street in Singapore. It was hungry and I offered it a thumb of tinned tuna. It's a lovely cat!

  2. Yes I had a Bombay cat named Bear that I miss very much he lived till age 16 I loved him so much that it still hurt he’s gone from but he’s near by me as his last resting place is in my back yard. Rest in peace Bear ! Love you still !

  3. I have a Bombay cat. His name is Nico. He was very tiny and his mother stopped feeding him. My girlfriend and I bottle fed him formula every 4hours from 3 weeks old until he no longer needed it. He now acts more like a human rather than a cat. He has 3 other cats he lives with in our home. He is smaller than the rest at only 6 lbs. But he is no doubt the boss. He was born with a heart defect and had to have special meds to be neutered. He is very vocal and likes to eat anything I eat. Veggies, fruit, soup, pasta -you name it and he likes it. He also goes in the tub/shower. I've never seen a cat like him.

  4. We have a 5 year old Bombay named Prince Amen Rah. He is very athletic and a stealthy hunter. Also, He is very vocal . Bombay cats are a great breed.

  5. Hi i have a Bombay cat he hav green i i love this cat i have 7 more cat the black boy is the sweetis he check in on me he open door to enter he very smart we i speak to him he understands me his mother is black and white you do not get the all black to often from Barbados

  6. I'm not sure my black cat, Inky, is a Bombay or not. Inky looks just like the cat in the video. He weighs 8.2 pounds which the vet thinks is a little on the thin side, but he's been that weight all the time I've had him. I adopted him 5 years ago from the MSPA. They don't give you much information about the cat except he's a black American shorthair and has feline aids. By watching the video, he may be a Bombay. Watching your video is like watching home movies. I was once told by a Siamese breeder that if you mate a non-Siamese cat with a dark pointed Siamese, the kittens will be black. I don't care he's my little house panther, and I love him to death.

  7. Din nouă pisici, patru le am negre!Mama lor se numește Pantera, fiul său mai mare Negruț!

  8. I had the best one ever. She showed up in my driveway in complete mess. Feral. She took a while but it was love at first sight. Will always miss her..xo

  9. My bombey is crazy smart. Just like the video. Loves hi places and schrimp..always by my side even when I sleep.he is a good boy loves to sit in his cat tree and watch the birds

  10. Ok this might seem out there and a little bizarre. Sidebar: I am not big on reincarnation. I lost a close friend and a few months after their passing a Bombay just showed up and parked himself at my sliding glass door looking in. The mysterious gaze got me eventually. – Ignored him for a week and he'd return to visit through the door so obviously long story longer he made his way in. Trip to vet, neutering, and he adjusted to other two cats, or I should say they eventually adjusted to his bold personality. Anyway, back to the friend passing. They knew I had some rescue kitties for a while and last thing they had said to me is take care of them so when this cat showed up a short time later with its focused gaze and persistence at being adopted, I named him after the passed-on friend. The cat has been a very close companion ever since.

  11. I got a 7 month old just over a month ago. So loving and intelligent, but she can be hyper. She is called Cleopatra and the name is purfect. High maintenance. TYPICAL WOMEN 😛

  12. I've had a Bombay for 2 years now and he is the center of my world. Although, he can be onery if we don't meet his play requirements. He is so smart too! I have him harness-trained, sitting for treats, recognizing specific commands, and he has done so well with all of our other animals. Such a good boy. I am so glad I got him from a Christian cult every day. Strangest experience of my life turned into a bundle of big teeth and joy

  13. I received 2 Bombay kittens that mated (they weren't pure bred) and eventually produced a litter. I have to say these are the most wonderful cats I have ever owned. They absolutely love their humans.

  14. We lost our Bombay a few months ago and miss her every day. Daisy Jane was 14, her sister Rose is still with us. Sweetest cats ever! They love to entertain company, cuddle, play and talk. I’m addicted!

  15. My Baby Bombay just turned 1 year old. He is everything you described. I rescued him when the maintenance men found him drowning in a puddle in the rain by a dumpster behind the courthouse. They immediately brought him to me. Vet said he was no more than 2.5 weeks old. He was so sick and hardly had a voice to cry. He was starving. He weighed 8 oz. His eyes were opened by the Vet with some salve and drops. I made sure it was my face he saw first. Judge even allowed me to bring him to my office a several months so I could bottle feed him. I didn't know I needed him more than he needed me! I consider him a gift from God! My life has been so blessed with him! I love my precious Onyx Theodore more than I ever thought possible. He weighed 10 lbs on his 1st birthday! People call them mini black panthers, but I call him my little jaguar! He really is the most beautiful, playful, talkative, petite baby ever. His eyes are copper colored with shards of green and his coat is luxuriously silky! He's all boy but much smaller than our other cats! His best friend is a dark gray Tabbie who he wins shuffles over all the time! He's so happy and that makes me even happier! I love my Bombay, Onyx, with all of my heart!

  16. yes i do have bombay cat.being abandoned outside our house and i decided to adopt him.that time his only a few days old.all the traits you said are true about them.now he is 4months old and very playful.he is always around wherever i go he follow me.i consider him now as the new member of our family.thankful we had him.

  17. I lost my best friend Nugget November 2022. He was my Snuggety Buddy! He was probably not a pure breed, I found him and three siblings (one had been killed by the belt) under the hood of a Mercury Sable. He really tore me up when I grabbed him!! I thought he was attacking me with razor blades and ice picks! When I got him home that afternoon it only took a few hours to tame him. A co-worker of mine (we are both mechanics) took his long fur brother and his sister (which was a smaller version of Nugget). Nugget was always a big cat–he weighed about 28 pounds most of his adult life. He was shiny black, short fur, yellow eyes, black paw pads, black gums, and a short tail (we never mentioned his tail in front of him because it embarassed him). He would sit calmly in my lap and put his paw in my hand when it was time for a claw trim! He always had to be near me, when it was time for me to be home from work he would be waiting at the door and when I walked in he always greeted me with MEOW!! I would meow back and he would keep talking until I stopped–he always got the last word! I got divorced and had to move out June 2022 and he came with me. Slowly he began losing weight until he was down to about 7 pounds. I knew he probably had kidney failure and I couldn't afford treatments. The day before he died he came to me and meowed and looked at me with those big soulful eyes so I picked him up and snuggled him for quite some time. I took lots of selfies with him and he seemed very happy. He always seemed to smile when I touched him and he was sure smiling that last morning! When I got home late that night I found him streched out on the floor in front of the heater. I immediately knew he was gone, I sobbed and held him all night long. I miss him so much! He was a wonderful companion for 14 years. I hope I gave him as much joy as he gave me.

  18. I rescued a Bombay last year. Just figured out yesterday that she is Bombay. She’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever known.
