Having seen a lot of dogs be hand stripped and in pain, I will NEVER have another dog of mine be handstripped. Dogs are tolerant, that doesn't mean they don't experience pain, and I wish people would understand that. Of course they won't, because their careers revolve around them NOT being aware of that, sigh.
I remember some of my earliest dreams were nightmares involving terriers like that one. They don't scare me anymore, but they still make me feel uncomfortable.
My aunt is a dog grommer and when i helped her for a few months because of an injury she had omg terriers where the main cause of so many hair splinters in my feet and hands its like cactus needles
Always wondered why you never had terriers on your channel! I have a 4 year old westie named George and he doesn't get his hair stripped (we keep a more shaggy-hippie look than a prim and proper stripped/wired coat)
I came to this video worried about how he was going to act considering that's a prominent Batman villian name, he spells his different Zsasz 😅 thankfully I was pleasantly surprised

What about pit terriers?
I have a westie and we clip him. His our beloved love biscuit so I prefer him soft. Clipping works well for us.
He's sooo cute! 🤗🥺
Zazz is adorable ❤
(melodically) "….because I hate them…." 😂😂😂
I'm watching, with intent, a professional dog groomer. Why? (you may ask) because if her humor were any dryer, it would blow away. 😂😂
He is super cute!

Trim with the grain, then clean up the ends, kinda like a beard.

Did she ever do an IRISH WOLFHOUND?
Omg! Zaz is so good looking!
He's so cute! I love Westies. I used to live with one.
My westie was my best friend for 10 years
Hand stripping is so hard on the hands 🥲
What a cutie!!!
I love that you give interesting facts while working with the doggos!!❤❤❤
an easier cut and a softer coat? i feel like only people who do dog shows wouldn't want that…
Looks like Australian shepherd in there also.
@GirlWithTheDogs what do u mean it’s not good for your hands when u hand strip ?
Dry wit goals!!
He's very well behaved
Such a sweet disposition!

That's your channel binned. Westies are the best dogs ever.
He doesn't look like a JR or a Westie. It's weird how that happens.
When our Aussie Terrier/JR cross got older we started clipping. It gave her a new lease on life.
i have a westie – she just gets cut with the blades, which is great because she's incredibly soft and her coat is gorgeous.
He is absolutely darling. What a great mix combination!
Cute dog…..❤
