I’ve been getting messages from all over the world asking about our cat Bunnie. We adopted her at our local animal shelter in December. She’s a “Manx.”. They are a breed of cat that’s born without a tail or a very short tail. To answer some of the questions for you, ” WE DID NOT cut her tail off.. A dog did not bite off her tail, Our other cat Teva did not chew it off, she was born this way. We would never hurt or abuse our cats. They are our family too. To learn more about this breed of cat there is information everywhere on Google. I forgot one other question I’ve received more than once, ” As you can see in the video, her balance is fine. She doesn’t need a long tail to walk and play. She’s a healthy sweet little Manx that brings us much joy. I hope the video brought some joy to you too. The name Bunnie came from how she can hop like a bunny and her little bunny tail, but she’s a Manx cat. Our special little Bunnie.

Aww I love her to bits! She looks so much like my little Mollie. I am in love with her pretty round eyes with such a sweet expression. I can see she is very proud of her pompom tail, I love the last pic of her:) I hope your video helps people know more about this fantastic breed. Manx is just a cat with a short tail, not a being from outer space, LOL… Great job, I love the song!

We have a Manx also, but sometimes it is the mother cat that docks the tails when they are removing the umbilical cord, shortly after birth. Not all cats with short tails are Manx. Your kitty is very cute! Her tail is the same length as our old kitty's tail. 😉

Our cat has the same color markings, but I see from this video, he is not a "Manx"…. all of our cats have been rescued or just have been lucky to survive here by being dropped at our farm… love to see cats play, and the love you gave her is outstanding !
