They brought the infected bats to the population center in Wuhan to experiment on them. Their security procedures were laughably lax and several researchers became hospitalized. This is how it spread. Without the lab and bringing the infected bats into the population center, the outbreak never happens.

Yes, we know, China did it. An that guy from the WHO who said nothing happened is on a video how he talks about that lab did work messing with it to make it easier to effect humans. Yet then when the covid happened, they hid it all, said there were no bats there, even though its famous for bats and the chinese scientist known as "bat lady" works there. Other scientist who saw changes to the virus were silenced. This doesn't make sense… take the camel example. If it takes a single mutation to jump from camels to humans then the two viruses should be nearly identical with the only difference being the bonding ability to human cells. Verifying the theory would have required finding the animal that it infected before camels and comparing it to the one in humans. THEN there should be a large difference.
The more similar the viruses are, the more it proves the "one mutation" theory to cross species. Which STILL doesn't disprove the lab leak theory, because the lab doing gain of function would want to create a small change to cause it to jump, not a full radical mutation.
