［ワシントン　１０日　ロイター］ – 主要７カ国（Ｇ７）は、係争地カシミール地方での観光客襲撃事件を受け対立を深めるインドとパキスタンに対し、緊張緩和に向けた直接対話を要請した。

インドは、カシミール地方のインド側で４月下旬に発生した観光客襲撃事件を受け、７日にパキスタンのテロリスト施設を攻撃したと発表。パキスタンは１０日未明、インドに対する軍事作戦を開始したと発表した。

Ｇ７の外相は９日付の声明で、４月の襲撃事件を「強く非難する」と表明。「即時の事態収拾を求め、両国が平和的な結果に向け直接対話することを促す」と述べた。
