[ブリュッセル ２５日 ロイター] – 欧州連合（ＥＵ）と中国当局は、中国製の電気自動車（ＥＶ）に対するＥＵ関税の代替案について協議しているものの、解決策の見通しは立っていない。欧州当局者が２５日に明らかにした。
欧州議会のランゲ国際貿易委員長は２２日、ＥＵと中国は中国製ＥＶに対する関税を巡り解決に近づいていると述べた。 もっと見る
一方、匿名を条件に語ったＥＵ当局者は、解決策はまだ見いだせていないとし、合意を妨げる障害がまだあると述べた。
検討されている選択肢の一つは、中国から輸入されるＥＶに最低価格を設定すること。ＥＵは調査の結果、価格が中国政府の補助金によって人為的に低く設定されていると結論付けている。
補助金問題に対処するため、ＥＵは先月貿易調査の一環として中国製ＥＶへの関税を最大４５．３％に引き上げたが、この動きは欧州を分断し、中国からの報復措置を招いた。
