福岡市は、ハロウィーンの混雑防止のため、10月29日から11月3日まで天神・警固公園を夕方から翌朝まで封鎖すると発表しました。夜間の立ち入り禁止措置は午後5時から午前6時まで行われ、これは2020年に約6,000人が集まり混乱が生じたことが背景にあります。2021年からはコロナ対策として封鎖が始まり、以降も花壇保護のためとされ4年連続で実施されています。高島市長は、2022年に韓国・梨泰院で発生した群衆事故を引き合いに、県警の指導に従い群衆が一箇所に集まらないよう対策を取るとし、市民に理解を求めました。
Fukuoka City has announced that Tenjin and Kego Park will be closed from the evening until the next morning from October 29th to November 3rd to prevent crowds on Halloween. The nighttime curfew is in place from 5pm to 6am, and comes after about 6,000 people gathered in 2020, causing chaos. A lockdown began in 2021 as a countermeasure against the coronavirus, and has been in place for four consecutive years since then to protect flower beds. Referring to the crowd accident that occurred in Itaewon, South Korea in 2022, Mayor Takashima said that he would follow the guidance of the prefectural police and take measures to prevent crowds from gathering in one place, and asked for the understanding of citizens.
