Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, Ishikawa Yūki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese professional volleyball player. He currently plays as an outside hitter and team captain of Japan men’s national volleyball team. At club-level, he plays for Sir Safety Perugia at the Italian Volleyball League.
Ishikawa was named as the “Best outside spiker” at the FIVB World Cup (2015, 2019), FIVB Nations League (2023, 2024), and Asian Championship (2017, 2019, 2021), as well as the “Most valuable player” at the Asian Championship (2017, 2023).
Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan. Currently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.

I’m a big fan of Yuki and Perugia, but your headlines are so over-the-top they’d make a soap opera blush. Yuki wasn’t even close to “DOMINANT”; he was decent, mostly on defence, while the rest of the team floundered like they were allergic to coordination. Let’s be real—their biggest rival wasn’t Padova; it was their own spectacularly awful performance. Did you see the comedy of errors they served up? Cut the clickbait nonsense, will you? You and VBTV seem to be on a crusade for clicks, worshipping at the altar of the almighty pound.

Not only him but another player also had hard time to get points against Padova about Yuki his connection with Giannelli still hasn’t been well enough but they just only have few chances to play together so just give them more times btw last match Yuki did well in defense and serving he never give up to improving his ability and his love for volleyball made me so proud of him 😘✌️

I do realize that sponsors are important, but those jerseys are fucking disgusting. I thought italians had a sense of beauty but after watching this I have serious doubts.
I would say that this isn't the best match for Perugia as they've been prone to errors since their match against Verona and Yuki's reception was a bit bad but one thing that surprised me was his defense. Yuki is getting even more good not just in offense but in defense as well, his connection to Gianelli is getting there and I hope that they can minimize their errors in their upcoming matches.
