与那国島で最大震度4 沖縄に一時津波警報(2024年4月3日)
3日午前8時58分ごろ、沖縄県与那国島で最大震度4を観測する地震がありました。気象庁によりますと、震源は台湾付近で、震源の深さは23キロ、地震の規模を示すマグニチュードは7.7と推定されています。
この地震により沖縄本島地方、宮古島・八重山地方に津波警報が出ていましたが、午前10時40分に津波注意報に切り替わりました。
これまでに、与那国島では午前9時18分に30センチ、石垣島では午前9時52分に20センチの津波が観測されました。
宮古島では午前10時8分に20センチ、午前10時50分に30センチの津波を観測しています。
沖縄県は、午前10時すぎに災害対策本部を設置しました。
現時点で、被害の報告はないということです。
玉城知事は、津波注意報の発令中は、高台など安全な場所へ避難するよう呼び掛けています。
また、台湾当局によりますと、東部の花蓮市で建物が倒壊するなど大きな被害が出ています。
台湾当局は津波警報を発表し、警戒を呼び掛けています。
