Glorious! Her mastery is extraordinary throughout, but I was especially mesmerized by the Chopin pieces at the end. She has a magical lightness of touch that brings out every nuance of every piece and yet often seems to be almost ethereal, shimmering and floating like the music was played by a fairy. I was reminded of her superb performance in the final of the 18th Chopin competition, which had the same magical quality. 🤩😍

It's great to be able to watch this fantastic recital by one of my all time favorite pianists! I was lucky enough to see her play Carnegie Hall when she was about 16, and to greet her and give her a hug afterwards! (I was tempted to never wash again, but …..) So excited that she is soon going to be a mom, and it will be fun to see if her child follows its two amazingly talented parents and loves the piano. Does anyone know who is playing with her in the Schubert 4 hands fantasy? It's such a lovely piece.
