Hayao Miyazaki’s Academy Award-winning animated feature film comes to life in this first-ever stage adaptation, full of dazzling sets, captivating musical numbers, and wondrous puppets of beloved characters. Adapted and directed by Tony Award-winner John Caird (Les Misérables), two unique casts and performances were filmed during the show’s acclaimed 2022 run at Tokyo’s historic Imperial Theatre, featuring Kanna Hashimoto and Mone Kamishiraishi as Chihiro.

STUDIO GHIBLI FEST is back in theaters and bigger than ever – highlighting all ten of Hayao Miyazaki’s iconic animated films with Studio Ghibli, as well as the first-ever North American screenings of SPIRITED AWAY: Live On Stage, featuring two separate full performances filmed during the production’s acclaimed run in Tokyo last year.

It’s a year of celebrating animation master Hayao Miyazaki with the first-ever nationwide retrospective of his Studio Ghibli works, including several anniversary titles: the 35th Anniversary screenings of My Neighbor Totoro, 15th Anniversary screenings of Ponyo, and 10th Anniversary screenings of The Wind Rises. STUDIO GHIBLI FEST 2023 has also added more screening dates than ever before to meet increased fan demand.

Each of the 10 animated features will be shown in both original Japanese and English dubbed versions and will include exclusive selections from the documentary series 10 Years With Hayao Miyazaki.

    치히로 특유의 어리버리하면서도 성숙한 모습과, 하쿠의 연기가 진짜 좋은것같아요,, 하쿠 등장할때 진심으로 설렜다는,,,😂

    i watched spirited away when i was around 5 or 6 i dont remember, i had this feeling that i watched this movie someday when i was 12 or 13 so i began searching for it's name. after finding it 1 year later i rewatched it again and ohmygod. it was the purest movie ever.. now im 16 and it's still my fav till this day.
