日本名即時代劇の一つ。必見。宮本武蔵と言えば彼、彼といえば宮本武蔵。それを決定づけた作品。彼以上の武蔵はモウ今世に現れんだろ。音楽は後のｾﾞｰﾀｶﾞﾝﾀﾞﾑの巨匠・三枝氏。脚本、音楽、俳優陣とかとにかく皆ｲｲ。
西村晃の石州斉はどうも胡散臭い(腹黒そう)。鶴田浩二あたりがいいかな？
