During the course of Russia’s extensive military assault in Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed
Forces of Ukraine reports that Russia has suffered casualties of 36,500 service members, 1,600 tanks,
and 3,789 armored combat vehicles.
The Sloviansk and Donetsk fronts have been the locations where Russian forces have sustained the
greatest number of casualties.
36,500 military personnel, 1,600 tanks, 3,789 armoured combat vehicles, 812 artillery systems, 247
multiple-launch rocket systems, 107 air defence systems, 217 aircraft, 187 helicopters, 664 operational-
tactical UAVs, 153 cruise missiles, 15 ships/boats, 2,648 vehicles and tankers, 65 special vehicles are
listed.
