タイフェスフェスティバル東京2026のために来日していたZeeNuNewにショートインタビューを行いました。タイトなスケジュールでしたが笑顔で対応してくだいました。テレビ朝日としては初インタビューとなります。
Zee： 先輩として、後輩たちには「すべてのものに挑戦してみてほしい」とアドバイスしたいです。
NuNew： 後輩たちは、成長が早い。僕は20歳でようやく歌えるようになったけど、今は17歳、18歳の時点ですでに歌えるので、みんなすごいな、と感心しています。
━━先日タイでも「DMD LAND 3 : THE FINAL LAND “LAND OF FUSION”」が開催されたかと思いますが、 大きなイベントを終えた今、お気持ちはいかですか？
NuNew： 終わってほっとしていますが、一年に一度しかやらない大好きなイベントです。（出演者には）久しぶりに会えた人もいて、昔のことを思い出して懐かしくなりました。
Zee： インパクトアリーナが懐かしく感じます。ファンの人に見せたいショーをすべて見せることができました。
━━出会った頃、ZeeさんはNuNewさんに対して、単純に「若い子が入ってきた」と思ったそうですね。NuNewさんはZeeさんを「かっこいい」と思ったそうですが、 今は、どのような関係に変わりましたか？
Zee： 関係は変わらないけど、人は成長するので、可愛さはそのままで立派になったと思います。
NuNew： 同じといえば同じだけど、少し変わったかな。
━━今も９歳という「年齢差」は気になりますか？
Zee： いつも気になります。
NuNew ： 気になります。
━━昔はZeeさんがキャビンアテンダント、NuNewさんがシェフや中国語の翻訳家になることが夢だったと聞きましたが、今の将来の目標は何ですか？
Zee： 近い将来、自分のファッションブランドを成功させたいです。まだ夢の途中です。
NuNew： 今の僕の夢は、自分の歌を世界の人に聞いてもらえるように頑張ることです。
━━今回、一緒に来ているメンバーについて教えてください。
Zee: まずNuNewです。 NetJJ。 そしてDEXXも来ています。
━━彼らはどんな存在ですか？
Zee： いつもは2人で来ることが多いのですが、今回は大勢なのでにぎやかです。会話も沢山出来てとてもいい感じです。
NuNew： 彼らも仕事が増えていると思うので、応援したいです。疲れるときもあると思いますが、このまま頑張ってほしいです。
NuNew： 最近はアーチェリーにはまっています。エアロビクスと山登りは体験していないです。普段はあまりスポーツはしないのですが、これからはテニスにも挑戦してみたいです。
Zee： エアロビクスはまだやったことはないですが、トレッキングは興味があります。テニスもやりたいので習えるクラスを探しています。乗馬もスキーもやりたいです。
━━来日する際、必ず持ってくるタイのものはありますか？
Zee: 特別なものはないです。買い物が好きなので、お金かな？（笑）
NuNew： 僕も現金です（笑）。あまり海外に行くときは持っていかないのですが、日本に来るときは、現金を持ってきます。自販機とか屋台でちょっと何かを買うときに必要だからです。
━━日本のコンビニで買う物や、必ず買って帰るお土産はありますか？
NuNew: 日本のお菓子は必ず買います。特に空港で必ず「白い恋人」を買います。
Zee： 僕もお菓子です。日本のお菓子を買って家族へのお土産にしています。
━━タイコンテンツはBLとGLなどのドラマに注目されがちですが、それ以外にも魅力的なコンテンツが沢山ある国だと思っています。お二人が考えるタイの魅力を教えてください。
NuNew: “タイ料理”に注目してほしいです。地域によっても異なる料理があり、それぞれとても美味しいです。タイという国は、”旅行“という視点で見ても、魅力的だと思います。
Zee： 僕も料理や旅行をオススメします。また、文化的なことも面白いと思います。シルクやモダンなタイの伝統的な衣装も魅力的です。タイのチェック柄（パーカオマー/Pha Khao Ma）も素敵だと思います。
━━答えられる範囲で、今後の活動予定を教えてください。
NuNew: まずはZeeNuNewのことをよろしくお願いします。NuNewとしては、もしかすると今年タイで個人のコンサートを行うかもしれないので、ぜひ見に来てください。これからも曲も沢山出していくし、頑張って作っていますので楽しみにしていてください。本当に皆さんに聴いてほしいです。気に入ったらぜひシェアしてください。さっき話していた新作ドラマ（Hug E-Lhee）も年内に（タイで）撮影予定で、今年放映されるかもしれないのでぜひ見てください。
Zee： 先ほど紹介したドラマ「Hug E-Lhee」はミュージカル仕立てになっていますので、楽しみにしていてください。「Cutie Pie（※）」、「The Next Prince（※）」もぜひ見てください。そして僕のアパレルブランド「SUPER SUN」も今年タイでPOP UPストアを開く予定です。近々タイで大きなプロジェクトもありますので時間があったらぜひ来てください。まだ言えませんが、近いうちに発表するので楽しみにしていてください。（「Hug E-Lhee」の）曲に関しても（製作総指揮の）P’Aofとも、どういう曲にするか話をしていますが、自分でプロデュースしているので、どういう感じの曲になるのか楽しみにしていてください。

Zee: (Imitating NuNew) Hello—I’m NuNew.
NuNew: (Laughs)
NuNew: The person sitting next to me is P’Zee.
Zee: The person next to me is NuNew.
━━Please tell us what kind of person your partner is.
NuNew: As for what kind of person (Zee) is…
Zee: Cool.
NuNew: No
NuNew: He looks arrogant and strict, but actually, he’s not like that at all—he’s really kind.
Zee: (NuNew) looks really cute on the outside, but as he’s gotten older and matured, he’s become beautiful. He’s a great singer, and while he has a gentle personality, he’s also got a certain allure and is sexy now.
━━ (NuNew) Is that accurate?
NuNew: That’s correct.
━━Please tell us your favorite role you’ve played.
Zee: There’s a production set in the Isan region of northeastern Thailand. It’s for my next project and hasn’t aired yet, but NuNew is very good with languages, so I’m looking forward to seeing him speak the dialect of the northeastern region. Also, I’d like to see NuNew in traditional rural attire. We don’t often see him in a more laid-back look. …Oh, not rural! Just everyday clothes. To rephrase, like an ordinary person… an ordinary person. He often plays roles where he wears slightly nicer outfits or high-end clothes, so I’m curious about that.
NuNew: I think it sounds interesting, but usually I dress similarly to how I do in this upcoming project, and I don’t really wear high-end brand clothes. He (Zee) wears similar outfits too, so please look forward to it.
NuNew: I really like (Zee’s) role as Charan, the royal bodyguard in “The Next Prince.” It’s a role I’ve never seen him play before. There’s action involved, and he was so cool and composed—it really left a strong impression on me.
━━“DMD WORLD in JAPAN,” held in Japan this past March, featured a large number of performers and was packed with highlights. Now that the number of juniors has grown to GEN5, as the top members of the agency, how do you view them?
Zee: As seniors, I’d like to advise the juniors to “try taking on every challenge.”
NuNew: The juniors are growing up fast. I didn’t really start singing well until I was 20, but now they can already sing at 17 or 18, so I’m really impressed by how amazing they are.
━━I believe “DMD LAND 3: THE FINAL LAND ‘LAND OF FUSION’” was held in Thailand the other day. Now that you’ve wrapped up such a major event, how do you feel?
NuNew: I’m relieved it’s over, but it’s an event I love that only happens once a year. I got to see some of the performers I hadn’t seen in a while, and reminiscing about the past made me feel nostalgic.
Zee: I feel nostalgic for the Impact Arena. We were able to show the fans everything we wanted to show them.
━━When you two first met, I hear Zee simply thought, “A young boy has joined the team.” NuNew, on the other hand, thought Zee was “cool.” How has your relationship changed since then?
Zee: Our relationship hasn’t changed, but people grow, so I think he’s become a fine young man while still retaining his charm.
NuNew: It’s the same in some ways, but I guess it’s changed a little.
━━Do you still worry about the 9-year “age gap” now?
Zee: I’m always aware of it.
NuNew: I am.
━━I heard that in the past, Zee’s dream was to become a flight attendant, and NuNew’s was to become a chef or a Chinese translator. What are your future goals now?
Zee: In the near future, I want to make my own fashion brand a success. I’m still working on that dream.
NuNew: My current dream is to work hard so that people all over the world can hear my songs.
━━Please tell us about the members who are here with you this time.
Zee: First, there’s NuNew. NetJJ. And DEXX is here too.
━━What kind of presence do they have?
Zee: Usually, the two of us come together, but since there are so many of us this time, it’s lively. We’re able to talk a lot, and it feels really good.
NuNew: I think they’re getting busier with work too, so I want to support them. I’m sure there are times when they get tired, but I hope they keep up the good work.
━━I heard that aerobics in parks and mountain trekking are currently popular in Thailand. Is there anything that’s popular among the two of you right now?
NuNew: Lately, I’ve been really into archery. I haven’t tried aerobics or mountain climbing yet.I don’t usually do much sports, but I’d like to try tennis from now on.
Zee: I haven’t tried aerobics yet, but I’m interested in trekking. I also want to play tennis, so I’m looking for a class to take. I’d like to try horseback riding and skiing, too.
━━Is there anything from Thailand you always bring with you when you come to Japan?
Zee: Nothing in particular. I like shopping, so maybe money? (laughs)
NuNew: I bring cash too (laughs). I don’t usually carry it when I travel abroad, but when I come to Japan, I bring cash. It’s necessary for buying small things from vending machines or street stalls.
━━Are there any items you buy at Japanese convenience stores, or souvenirs you always bring back?
NuNew: I always buy Japanese snacks. In particular, I always buy “Shiroi Koibito（※１）” at the airport.
Zee: I buy snacks too. I buy Japanese snacks to bring back as souvenirs for my family.
━━While Thai content tends to get attention for dramas like BL and GL, I think Thailand is a country with plenty of other appealing content as well. Please tell us what you think makes Thailand so appealing.
NuNew: I’d like people to pay attention to “Thai cuisine.” The dishes vary by region, and each one is incredibly delicious. I also think Thailand is a fascinating country from a “travel” perspective.
Zee: I also recommend the food and travel. I also find the culture interesting. Silk and modern Thai traditional attire are also appealing. I also think the Thai checkered pattern (Pha Khao Ma) is lovely.
━━Please tell us about your future plans, as much as you can.
NuNew: First of all, please support ZeeNuNew. As for NuNew, I might be holding a solo concert in Thailand this year, so please come see it. I’ll be releasing lots of songs going forward, and I’m working hard on them, so please look forward to them. I really want everyone to listen to our music. If you like it, please share it. The new drama I mentioned earlier (Hug E-Lhee) is scheduled to be filmed (in Thailand) within the year and might air this year, so please be sure to watch it.
Zee: The drama “Hug E-Lhee” I introduced earlier is set up like a musical, so please look forward to it. Please also be sure to watch “Cutie Pie（※２）” and “The Next Prince. （※２）” Also, my apparel brand “SUPER SUN” is planning to open a pop-up store in Thailand this year. I have a big project coming up in Thailand soon, so please come by if you have time. I can’t say much yet, but I’ll be making an announcement soon, so please look forward to it. Regarding the songs for “Hug E-Lhee,” I’ve been discussing the direction with P’Aof (the executive producer), but since I’m producing them myself, please look forward to seeing what kind of songs they’ll turn out to be.
