『ウィキッド 永遠の約束』特別映像＜First Look＞【2026年3月、日本公開】
“悪い魔女”エルファバと、“善い魔女”グリンダ――。ふたりの魔女の出会いと友情を描き、世界中を興奮と感動の渦に巻き込んだミュージカル映画の新たな金字塔『ウィキッド ふたりの魔女』。壮大な楽曲と圧巻の映像美、そして何よりもふたりの魔女の友情は、観る者の心を大いに揺さぶった。そしてこの度、世界中から期待が寄せられている本作『ウィキッド 永遠の約束』において、主演のシンシア・エリヴォとアリアナ・グランデ、そしてジョン・M・チュウ監督の物語の核心に触れるコメントと共に、壮大な世界観の一部を映し出した特別映像が解禁された。
映像は、「『ウィキッド 永遠の約束』は物語の新たな境地に足を踏み入れ、さらにパワーアップしている」というシンシア（エルファバ役）の言葉通り、前作を越えるスケールでさらに壮大な物語が描かれることを予感させる。監督が「困難な選択の先にある結末を描いた、より深い感情の物語だ」と語るように、本作では、前作で固い友情を築きながらも正反対の道を選んだエルファバとグリンダの“その後”が描かれる。“悪い魔女”として悪名を着せられ民衆の敵となったエルファバは、オズの森に身を潜めながら自由のために闘い、“偉大なるオズの魔法使い（ジェフ・ゴールドブラム）”の噓を暴こうとする。一方のグリンダは、“善い魔女”として希望の象徴となり名声を得るが、その心にはエルファバとの決別が影を落としていた。アリアナ（グリンダ役）は「ふたりの友情が試される。光と影、苦悩、互いへの理解が描かれる」と語り、運命に引き裂かれながらも、もう一度向き合おうとするふたりの友情の行方に期待が高まる。さらに監督は「本作で『オズの魔法使い』と『ウィキッド』の世界が交わる」とコメント。シンシアとアリアナも「ブリキの男、カカシの男、ライオンの誕生秘話も明かされる」、「ドロシーの知らないところで何があって、なぜそこへ行き着いたのかが分かる」とそれぞれ語り、本作と「オズの魔法使い」との重要な繋がりを明かしている。

In Wicked for Good, they’re both stepping into this new space in their lives, and I think that actually makes them all the more powerful. As Alphaba and Glenda dive into Wicked for Good, much has changed. They realize that what they had in film one can never come back again, and what they have to move into is something very different. It’s a much more mature emotional journey about the consequences of the hard choices that you make. You’re the only friend I ever had. And I’ve had so many friends. And it’s really about them trying to get back together in some way, even if the fates don’t allow that. Haven’t you heard? I’m the wicked witch of the West. I believe their bond is unbreakable, but it is deeply challenged by the distance that they have to navigate. We really just get to see how far we can push this friendship. There is nuance. There is hurt. There’s forgiveness. It’s wild. It’s unbridled. It feels really, really epic. Bring me the broom of the wicked witch. It also is the intersection between the wonderful Wizard of Oz and the world of wicked. We get to see how these characters like the Tin Man and the Scarecrow and the Lion come to be. It’s an interesting concept because you now get to see what happens behind the scenes and what’s been happening away from Dorothy and how they end up where they are. Here we are on the yellow brick road. Can you believe it? We see truly the origin story of the Witches Oz. I’ve heard it said the effect that we have in each other is forever. our lives. It is what drew me to Wicked from the very beginning. [Music] Alphaba, they’re coming for you. I hope that it encourages people to keep fighting for what they believe in. We really wanted this movie to feel like it was an epic conclusion to a journey and you get to the guts of what Wicked is all about. These two women love each other so much and they truly change each other for the better. [Music] It’s time for both of us to fly for good. It’s been a heck of a ride.
