1月16日(月)にスタートした草彅剛の主演ドラマ『罠の戦争』（カンテレ・フジテレビ系／毎週月曜22時）の主題歌で、香取慎吾とSEVENTEENが共同で制作 した楽曲「BETTING」の配信が本日スタートした。 ドラマ『罠の戦争』は、草彅剛が主演を務める『銭の戦争（2015年）』『嘘の戦争（2017年）』に続く「戦争シリーズ」第3弾で、弱者による強き権力者へ の復讐劇が描かれた作品。愛する家族を傷つけられた議員秘書が知略を尽くして鮮やかな“罠”を仕掛け、悪しき政治家を失脚させる痛快なエンターテインメ ント作品となっている。 主題歌である「BETTING」は、香取慎吾が最新アルバム『東京SNG』で見せたジャズの世界観にSEVENTEENならではのダンサンブルなトラックが融合した 楽曲。SEVENTEENが日本でアーティストとコラボレーションするのは今回が初で、SEVENTEENメンバーでグループの音楽制作を牽引するWOOZI（ウジ） と音楽プロデューサーBUMZU（ボムジュ）の2人が香取慎吾と幾度となく意見交換を実施し完成させた。
