川口春奈と目黒蓮（Snow Man）が共演したフジテレビ系ドラマ「silent」（毎週木曜よる10時～放送）のディレクターズカット版を収録するBlu-rayとDVDボックスが2023年8月25日に発売されることが明らかになった。
10月期ドラマとして放送された本作は、主人公・紬（川口）が、高校生のときに本気で愛した恋人・想（目黒）と、8年の時を経て偶然の再会を果たすことから物語が展開するラブストーリー。Twitter世界トレンド1位、動画配信サービス「TVer」にて歴代最高再生数を記録するなど、社会現象を巻き起こし、22日に最終回を迎えた。今回、発売が決定したBlu-ray＆DVDは、本編がディレクターズカット版にて収録されるほか、特典映像に加えてブックレットも封入される。詳細については今後発表される予定となっている。
