I have always thought the SK-II smells like kids putty lol
I have never smelled Sake so maybe that’s why the only smell I could compare it too was putty. But I’m glad that you love it! Makes me feel less crazy for continuing to purchase it. I hate the price but love the quality.

The product that wowed me this month was the AmpleN Ceramide Shot Ampoule (thanks to James Welsh). Really moisturizing and nourishing and perfect for cold winters.
I have definitely been on a consistent routine for the last 2-3 months and I said this in the comments of another video but my big standouts have really been the Pyunkang Yul ato Cream Blue Label, the Beauty Of Joseon Ginseng Water Essence, I think is the name, I use it as a toner, and the Tosowoong 100% Tamunu Oil. My only gripe is that I wish the Tamunu oil came in a bigger bottle but you do only need a few drops so it’s still lasting a while. I’ve been using it day and night for about 3 weeks and can barely see where I have made a dent in it.
Oh I was so hoping you wouldn’t give SKII such a glowing review, not to mention my wallet 🥺. I noticed you had the Illiyoon ceramide ato water, I was wondering what your thoughts are on it. I have been loving the Illiyoon ceramide ato soothing gel as my day moisturiser under my sunscreen, as it isn’t to rich.

I love listening to you talk about skincare. Seriously one of my fave things this year ♥️ My december faves are Paula’s choice omega complex serum, bioeffect EGF serum and my tretinoin. That combo has given me baaaaby soft and glowy skin even when I don’t get more than a few hours of sleep. The Paula’s choice serum I’ve only been using for around 3 weeks but I love everything about it! The texture is just divine, light and non sticky but soo nourishing! Plus it makes sure my skin has zero problems zero my tret. Happy New Year Kelly!!

I received the I’m from rice serum and cream in the Gothamista box and I have been loving these together!! The cream definitely is the rockstar I agree. The Rovectin skin essentials activating treatment lotion usually goes on beforehand and boy oh boy my skin feels sooooo hydrated after those three products! In 2021 I plan on trying more from the Rovectin line because I was wowed. Happy New Year to my favorite k beauty youtuber!!! 🎉💕😃💕
I didn’t notice any improvement when I used SKII essence. A bit of brightening effect with its essence mask.
Rice cream is really really amazing but the size of product will last me like one month so I'm getting back to my one and only illiyoon ceramide cream❤️

Hi Kelly the laneige cream skin refiner is always a Winter favourite (Scotland and dry, eczema and rosacea prone skin), but this month I tried the corresponding cleanser. Unlike yourself I really like it as it's really gentle and used as a morning/second cleanse is working well for me. The FAB cleanser shown only works in the Summer for my skin as I'm so so dry. I am just finishing the isntree tw bifida serum and have enjoyed it enough to buy another for when it finishes. Another fave of the month is the cosrx propolis toner and snail filtrate essence combo. These are super hydrating and healing on my thirsty skin, when layered with the laneige cream skin. My skin can take a lot of layers as it drinks up skincare, especially at this time of year. How does the SK-II compare to the Missha First Essence and the Cosrx Galactomyces Essence? I've used both of those for years but I can't help but wonder if the SK-II is just that much better

I have been interested in that SK-11 essence since I first heard about it, but the price kept me away. I was kind of hoping you wouldnt like it, so that I wouldnt be even more tempted to try it out.
I believe if you make a comparison vid, that Missha first treatment essence, COSrx galactomyces, Secret key starting tratment essence and Neogen real ferment micro essence would be great to compare it with

It says it has 3 mint ceramides…not sure what that means but it looks intriguing! I would love your thoughts! I am currently obsessing over the Farmacy Honey Halo! Another brand I would love your input on and I'm sorry its not KBeauty but its Beekman 1802. Goat milk based. They have a goat milk probiotic ceramide milk drop that seems to be promising and nutritional to the skin! Please I hope you check out this brand!!! Happy and Healthy New Year!
A product I love is the dermalogica clear start breakout clearing foaming wash, I have dehydrated sensitiv skin with hormonal acne and Lupus disease, and I love the clinique redness solutions daily relief cream. Its just making a big difference for my skin.

I don't know if anyone agrees, but to me, it wouldn't matter how good the sk-II would be. It's too expensive for me. If I'd get married I could perhaps consider using it for a short period to perfect my skin, but again, I could do something else with that kind of money, like a professional teeth whitening… Missha artemisia essence (with discount) is just within my price range…Jolse sells it often cheaper than yesstyle. I have the Missha time revolution essence rx waiting in my stash so I hope it will be the poor man's version of the sk-II?!
Great video one of my recent favorites is the Purito Centella recovery cream unscented which is slightly thicker than their deep sea pure water cream. I love both. I am also liking the illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream which I use mainly at night and it’s lovely and moisturising for my dry skin. I also like the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner. I would like to know how the Sk II essence compare to Misha essence. I appreciate your honesty and consistency when talking about the products you use.
I tried the FAB cleanser and the scent was a no go for me. I know it’s unscented, but it’s still got a smell. I did like the ultra repair cream and oil though.

Cosrx galactomyces gave me horrible breakouts including cysts!
But Sk-II was in another level, there is a true quality difference for sure. If I have the money I would stick to Sk-II but I don’t so the closest next comparison was Missha for me which is amazing in its own right. And the price too!

my sister gifted me an 80ml bottle of SK-II that i used over 2-3 months. i was really hoping to not like it so I wouldn't be tempted to buy it…but it absorbed really well and made my skin look like it was glowing from the inside. i finished the bottle and haven't replaced it since (can't afford it tbh). the glow went away and I can't seem to get that same glow with other products.
though i think it smells like dried fish…
