  1. Lol I had the pump out the bottle trying to unlock it the way in the video, and towards the end was told it would be more effective if the you have the pump inside the bottle. Thanks for the help!

  2. After a broken finger nail and sore finger joints I had to get my tool box, used an actual nail and pincers…. and after another 10 minutes of an it's-either-me-or-you-pump-battle…. it miraculously opened.
I still don't know how though, or how to open that thing gracefully the next time. I used brute force 🤷‍♀

  3. You know it's a crappy design when you need to go to YouTube just so you can open your shampoo and wash your hair!!

  4. Didn’t work so I ended up breaking it and putting the lid from the last bottle on it

  5. The problem with this pump: the direction you turn the pump to unlock it is the same as the direction you turn the cap to undo it. Since it takes more force to open the pump than to open the cap, I kept opening the cap, and when I'd screw it back down it tightened the pump even more. In the end I had to use a pliers to hold the pump lock ring while turning the pump.

Solution: have the pump unlock in the opposite direction. That way turning the pump will tighten the lid, and make it easier to unlock the pump.

  6. My Not Your Mother's Natural shampoo/conditioner bottles were thiiiiisss close to being extricated to Tupperware 😂 thanks for the vid

  7. Lawd have mercy! Gotta watch a video just to open a danged bottle of soap and IT STILL WON'T OPEN! 😡 How about this…. I just pour the new stuff in my old bottle and get on with my life😤

  8. …but a lot of these do NOT have a separate "lock ring" so you have to unscrew the Entire Top Off, Then hold onto the upper Chamber while you turn the pump head clockwise (CW) Or counter clockwise (CCW). before that last step, you'll need to rinse it clean so you can pinch tight that upper chamber

  9. I had to search up a video and struggled with it for 20 minutes just to finely give up and just brake it. You ever design this should just be fired and give up on designing.

  10. Watched 45 out of 55 seconds before I realized my bottle was open this whole time 💀 Well, thanks in any event

  11. The fact that I had to Google a way to open those pump bottles is very aggravating. I don't know if this is for a particular brand or just a style of pump, but the fact that we have to actually look at a video to open a bottle. Why don't they make them easy to open. I understand locking them to transport and everything, but it should not take 10 minutes and bleeding fingers and looking at a video in order to open a bottle. Whoever invented this style of pump should be punished in some way I can't think of at the moment. I did just spend 10 minutes twisting the bottle top around and around and around and around. No lock ring to hold on to no reason at all that I can tell the why it was still locked. I have the same problem not long ago with a shampoo bottle of Head and shoulders. I wound up getting rid of that pump and finding an old one that was already unlocked. It is absolutely ridiculous that we have to go through all of this just to open up a shampoo or soap dispensing bottle. I'm just ranting right now.

  12. If we have to watch a video to open a shower gel , means they should change these heads ! Been a struggle, thanks

  13. Ps for anyone trying to do this just by your hands. DON'T. Use a Wrench!

  14. They got instructions on how to wash yo hair but not how to open the damn dispenser!!

  15. THANK YOU! I often have problems with pump bottles, this made it super easy! It worked right away.THANK YOU

  16. That’s not true. I bought a shampoo and conditioner from Costco and the middle part is so tight can’t hold it and can’t open it. The shampoo is really good but bottle sucks

  17. I guess I need to go back to school or something lol. I really had to look up how to open a soap bottle
