   This bag is amazing. It’s my everyday bag now and I’m happy to bring it out with me everyday to work. Mine is the black leather with ruthenium hw because I cannot find the black hw. Do you know if this is still available? I mean the mini so black with the black hw in the diamonds quilts like yours, not the chevron.

   I live in Paris and the SA said there’s no one available in Europe, even though it is still on the Chanel website! So I ended up getting the ruthenium hw which I also love.

   Maybe another question please, do you have an idea on the leather of the 2.55 serie 12 made in the year 2008/2009? I saw one preloved but the leather looks just so soft and glazed not like the usual look of the aged calfskin. Can it be lambskin? Thanks so much for your reply. I just subscribed to your channel.

    Hi Dacob, I hate you lol jk. Before I watched your videos I didn’t even care if my Chanel bags were made in France or made in Italy. After I watched your videos, I checked my flap mini and it was made in Italy and now I look at it differently 😂 then today I purchased a 2.55 reissue. They had 2 in stock, one was made in France and the other one was made in Italy. Having watched your videos I was aiming the one made in France of course. After examining the details however, I found the one made in Italy was newer and in better conditions than the one made in France (this one was produced in 2019 and has been on the shelf so it looked older). I went with the one made in Italy at the end but wondering if I should have chosen the one made in France. So I want to ask you, besides sentimental reasons, do you actually see quality differences in made in Italy and made in France?

    Thank you for another intelligent review. I have a pink mini reissue on hold from my visit today at the Chanel boutique and after listening to your review will make the purchase tomorrow. Yes I agree Chanel are out pricing themselves, however I am weak! I already have a beige in the mini reissue and enjoy it immensely.

    Excellent review! I have recently become a fan of yours and your reviews are amazing. (So is your hair. I like every version I've seen so far!) I have a question about the mini. Did they originally come without the love letter zip and double flap? I've seen preloved mini's with these features. I'm curious if the design changed or if there is something off with the listings.     I have been going back and forth on the 2.55. Somehow other bags make it into my shopping cart before the 2.55. But now I’m ready to pull the trigger. For some reason the light colored ones with shiny gold hw are the ones I gravitate towards. Thank you again. This really helped me appreciate the 2.55 series. Love your videos always!!     My aged gold hardware of the reissue is showing some silver shade already but i like it… it gives it a more vintage look like a character. Dont know if it’s normal.

    Thank you for another great video. I am very persuaded that the mini 2.55 in black is likely to be my next Chanel purchase. I just don’t know whether I desire the gold chain hardware. I could accept the gold though. Ruthenium hardware exists on the emerald green and blue one, which I saw in the Chanel shop recently. I had a black 2.55 in medium /large (bought in 2017) with ruthenium for a number of years until I stopped using it. I got tired of the size which I came to feel was too big. I could look again at a 2.55 in the mini size, since it will be lighter to carry. It is beautiful bag. Proportions are nice. Some say the 2.55 is more understated because it does not have the double cc clasp. Not sure that is so understated and discrete to me rather it seems a mysterious bag with the mademoiselle turn lock. The crease/fold at the bottom is something I wish someone had explained to me earlier. Initially I thought my 2.55 medium bag was damaged and now I know this is another one of its design features. I have learnt a lot about Chanel bags as I have bought them and used them.

    I am thinking about having 2.55 either mini or rectangular. Not sure if I should go for seasonal colours or so black.
    I have a lot of black bags (of course 😉, including chanel classic in GHW).
    I would be interested in your opinion on "so black" 😊

    I did not know chanel charges more for different hardwares. Like why…? That's so tacky. I don't know about any other brand doing that. Even Hermès ,who creates HW plates in real precio materials charges more. Their rose gold HW is very rare, and "resales" for a premium on the second hand market, but they don't charge more.
    If you do a made to order bag, you pay the price from when you made the order, not the price after a price increase.
