I also hate the feeling of body lotion and I have been using the Nivea in shower body lotion recently to help my skin not look dry!! You should try it if you haven’t already, it’s not very luxurious like other products lol but I like how it feels on my skin afterward and I do feel moisturized enough for me 😂
i love empties videos because I am in the second year of collecting annual empties myself, and I think it really shows us what we consume vs what we buy. I had no idea how long it actually took me to use up a body wash or shampoo for example. Boy do I know now lol

I cannot understand what people mean when they describe BR540’as airy. It is clawing and headachy and I hate it so much 😭😅 But I’m also glad I don’t like it because is expensive 😂
I love empties videos! This was great. It was relaxing, informative and enjoyable. This is the first year I have ever saved my empties. I am saving for the whole year, to see what I went through the most etc. It's kind of exciting, lol. Thanks for a great video!!
I really like the concealer, the cream blushes and the lip quips from Item Beauty. The cream blushes are a cream to powder formula that dry down nicely and do not disturb the makeup underneath even if you've powdered. The lip quips smell delicious and feel great on the skin. They don't really give you any pigment on your lips though.
OMG, I TOO CAN'T STAND BODY CREAMS/LOTIONS 😫 😩 AND I KEEP BUYING THEM DURING SALES/GIFT SETS! I hope some day I will be ok with it (feel like I need to re-bathe after applying), I've thrown out so many that expired 😔
Plastic bristle mascaras are my favorite. I have short, straight lashes but there's a lot of them. And they grow in 100 different directions lol and those kinds of wands separate them best. Plus it seems like mascaras with those wands tend to be more lengthening and that's one of my top needs.
sodium hypochloride or whatever is the main ingredient in the tower 28 spray, it's antibacterial i believe so its good for eczema, acne, rosacea, or compromised skin in general. derms recommend taking (diluted!) bleach baths for eczema, so it's a commonsense product i'm surprised no one else to my knowledge was really doing before. i think i heard pillow talk derm recommend a dupe from walgreens that's like diluted sodium hypochloride in water but do not quote me on that, i simply will not be held responsible if you chemically burn yourself!! sodium hypochloride is an oxidant ingredient though so if you use it in the same routine with antioxidants that could be problematic, i don't know why though i just see skinfluencers say that and niod's website discourages it, too. if anyone does please let me know!

I feel the same way about lotion. Once you put on lotion, it takes away from the clean feeling.
Tip for candle shopping that I learned when I worked at Bath & Body Works— sniff the inside of the lid. It will give you a better idea of the “real” scent vs. sniffing the cold wax. It’s not perfect but a little more accurate.
I’ve worked on changing my relationship with products, clothes etc. I wear what I want when I want even if I’m just home with my kids all day I’ll wear makeup or decent clothes if I want to, or pjs and a messy bun if I want to. Haha!

Idk how I missed this video but so glad I found it!! I LOVE empties videos….more than hauls, 1st impressions, will I buy, etc. etc. For anyone who hasn’t tried Batiste dry shampoo (if there is anyone these days), I have very dark hair and yeah, it leaves a white cast but you can brush, shake it out. Quick tip….try applying dry shampoo at night, don’t brush until morning and it should work even better than normal. I hope Lauren sees this….Aesop makes body wash too!! I sooo wanna try the Terracotta Canyon hand soap now!! When is Bath & Body Works gonna come out with hand soap refills?!? I HATE all the plastic waste so don’t buy as many from there as I would refill bottles (bags).

I'm religious about lotion after the shower, within the first few minutes. I don't get dressed right away so it has time to soak in. It has made a difference in my skin & I can notice when I don't do it. Now that I am a certain age I am glad i kept at it all these years. But evey one is different. It's such a habit now I don't even think about it.
Enjoy your channel & your honest opinions about all of these products. The worst I can say about your reviews is it makes me want to spend money & I am trying to cut back on spending on beauty products, lol. ✌
For CBD stuff, you gotta make sure youre getting something with actual cannabidiol in it. Theres no regulation for the claim of having CBD in products and SO MANY things say they have it when its just hemp seed oil. It's just not the same.

You love candles like I do. I really wish B&BW would have a program similar to back to Mac because I am running out of repurpose ideas. What do you do with your empty jars? I kinda need some inspiration.
I don't love spray dry shampoo, my fave is the Bumble and Bumble Pret-A-Powder loose powder shampoo, but I have dark brown and while I can rub into my roots it still leaves a tiny white cast so I use the Batiste dark brown spray for just the top layer of my hair. So if the Volumizing Batiste works great for you but you have darker hair I highly recommend using the tinted spray for the top. However, use caution with the dark tinted spray bc it is messy AF. I wouldn't spray it liberally bc you might run the risk of getting it on your clothes.
I love when I get an empty anything. Especially condiments so I can try another one out I haven't tried before. Only thing I don't love empty is toliet paper and eggs these days lol
