The attention to color in this video is so incredibly soothing. When most of our time during quarantine is spent visually looking at computer screens, something that's "fresh" for the eyes really stands out. Wonderful job Matilda!

I’ve been in the mood for lots of balmy and glossy lip products. I get excited to do a light spring time makeup application when I go to the grocery store but then I realized my balmy/ glossy lip products stick to my 😷 mask. So then I started applying colored eye looks instead of my usually very simple nude/ neutral eye makeup. Either way, playing with my makeup during this time makes me happy.
So excited about your website! I maintain my balance by keeping my daily routines (including skincare and makeup) and adding some summer work clothes to my usual jeans or shorts. Perks up my mood and keeps me focused.

I haven't been working. Makeup- wise, I have been keeping it simple : sometimes its foundation- free with brow pomade, mascara, blush and nude lipstick.
Since quarantine I’ve felt so under stimulated which led me back to a depressive mindset which I thought I’d left behind in high school, but I’m slowly making my way back. Idk if it’s like this for anyone else but when I’m depressed I don’t take care of my self so lately I’ve been trying hard to remember to do that and skincare seems to be way in the door at the moment

Doing my skincare routine and having matcha lattes is my big musts! I usually don’t get dressed right away I tend to wait until 9am-10am (don’t know why). The main thing I want to change is getting up early enough to finish my breakfast before I start working. Otherwise my food gets cold and and get so wrapped in my work I basically forget to finish it.

Basically like almost a year ago? I found Matilda. Its not like I purchase make up or anything but its just how she speaks- I have spent watching videos and actually being interested in something I don't need over and over again only because shes so thorough xD

im not sure if anyone has commented this yet, but mixing makeup into sunscreen isnt such a good idea. more times than not, you dont mix it perfectly so there are pockets of makeup in your sunscreen that dont protect you from the sun! watch lab muffin science for more sunscreen info ☺️

i love ur videos bc they’re so pretty to look at ans i love how they’re short ans to the point. i often get bored in a video but 5-8 minute videos are PERF
One tip that has really helped me is having one spot or room for work. When I’m in that room or space I’m in work mode, and when I leave it I’m in home mode. This really helped me. I also set time blockers. For example, if I had a report due, I would set a timer for 30 minutes and only focus on that report for that amount of time. I know I’m late but these tips and tricks have really helped me with work/life balance!
