I have a quick little skincare beauty empties video dedicated to three moisturizers that I’ve tried recently. There’s a mix of luxury and natural beauty brands in todays video.
For reference: I have normal to combination skin and my main concern is proper hydration and dealing with some hyperpigmentation. While these moisturizers don’t market themselves as helping hyperpigmentation, an effective moisturizer is essential to an effective skincare routine.
I’m always trying new moisturizers and I tend to use the same one for both my morning and evening skincare routines. I don’t use separate moisturizers but at night I’ll sometimes use an oil because of my gua sha routine.
I tried Aesop, Eve Lom and Derma-E and there were a few surprises…
Aesop was an impulse purchase while I was picking up some soap and body lotion. Sometimes I love a moisturizer with a pump because it stays cleaner over time. I love Aesop products and their packaging – it’s so clean, modern and calming.
I picked up the Eve Lom moisturizer when I was shopping at SpaceNK and was stocking up on some luxury beauty products. I’ve tried a few of the Eve Lom products in the past and thought why not give this moisturizer a go.
The Derma-E moisturizer was another impulse purchase while I was shopping on Thrive Market. Collagen? Peptides? Yes and Yes!!
You know my absolute fave is the Tata Harper Creme Riche but I like to try different moisturizers in between my Tata empties to see what else is out on the market.
I’m always on the hunt for new, effective skincare and beauty products and what better way to find out of it works than giving it a go.
Sometimes you find some skincare gems an some times you find some skincare misses.
