Between my self and my daughters… we use Pantene. One likes the Smooth and sleek, the other likes the volume one, I use the ‘Classic Clean’ or whatever leftovers they have in a pinch. I miss the ice shine one. But there’s 13 feet of hair between us. I just lie to the hairdresser when I go in for my twice yearly trims. Same with my esthetician. She thinks I am using one of those fancy facial cleansers (because “your skin looks so good!”), uh… nope. Dove sensitive bar. 😂

which one is good for fine hair but it thick in the stands if you know what i mean, my scalp gets very oily and feels weighed down but ends are always a bit more dry. looking for lightweight bouncy hair
Im 64 yrs old, I stopped coloring hair years ago, went grey/white/ silver. It became to dry with purple shampoo & conditioner. But this stuff is "Great" I have soft, shiney hair and the 3 natural colors in my hair is beautiful! I get so many compliments! Its Amazing! ❤😊👍

Fatty alcohols are in every product under the sun, skincare and hair care, all of them. They're not the drying astringent type of alcohol that everyone immediately thinks of.

I thought you have to keep some on your hair, it works as a leave in conditioner and helps to keep your hair moisturized! 😮 I got this suggestion from an YouTuber. Should i completely rinse it off for better result and to avoid build up!?
When I started getting my hair colored and I used the products they recommended to me, my hair looked like crap. You need to know what kind of products you need for your hair type and that’s about it. Drugstore or high end, doesn’t matter. They both use the same ingredients.
Love this! I grew up on Pantene and herbal essence and used to have the longest most shiny healthy hair. As I grew up and was on my own I experimented with tons. Starting going to salons and buying their stuff. Over the years my hair when to crap. No I find there’s a mixture of both salon and drugstore brands that work for me. Pantene is one that works great for me! Redken is a salon brand that works! There are some from both ends that do. Definitely need to find what’s right for you which is hard these days because as an adult I find women shame each other for using drugstore hair products and makeup for that matter

I used Pantene for years. My hair was extremely thick and long and shined like crazy. I always got compliments on how soft it was. Then I switched to a more natural brand, and had an allergic reaction so badly it did something to my scalp. Then I switched again to a different natural product and still not luck on fixing the problem of now thinning hair. So I asked a hair stylist and was told to try a tea tree shampoo and conditioner. Still no luck. Now my hair is so thin, and it went from beautiful thick, with volume to flat, completely limp, thin hair. I’m heading back down the Pantene trail. I’m hoping going back to my tried and true will help this mess I got myself into.
I used only high end salon bought and suggested brands for over a decade and they sucked whenever I would ask the people with the most beautiful healthy shiny looking long hair what they used it was pretty much always Pantene and I switched and super quickly noticed my hair get healthier, smell much better, shiny stronger . Hairdressers demonize it so you will buy their products and that all don’t fall for the scam.

About a year ago I decided to try the Pantene Pro V moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, my hair has never looked or felt so good. I’ve completely switched to using Pantene only. I think it's mostly an issue of people not understanding which products they need to suit their hair needs, rather than the brand itself being the issue – no different in that sense than with skincare.

It seems to depend on the formula you buy. Some of the formulas seem to build up so I switch to a cleansing shampoo.

The formula has changed from even a year ago, it feels like putting a coat of melted plastic in your hair that does not rinse out.
