So, I keep wanting to get the Nature Lab because I’ve heard you talk about them. Lol Do these do a good job preserving color? I saw somewhere that it said it was, and since you have red hair it seems like it must. I think I just saw Isle Of Paradise Moisturizer on sale on Sephora’s site. I’m happy to hear about the Nomad face mist! I feel like I haven’t heard many people talk about their skincare since the launch. I just purchased the set for my mother-in-law as a retirement present. She travels quite a bit, and her and my father-in-law are about to travel from Delaware to Alaska over the next two months. So it felt like the perfect present, and she seemed excited for it. And I wanted to say that I really enjoyed the one palette for 7 days video! It was interesting to see the different looks you came made.
3:04 I also purchased that lotion and thought it was a dupe for Sol de Janeiro . I didn't find that the smell was identical. There's something off that I did not like about it. But I won't be paying $38 for the real thing either. Not anymore. Those days are over 😂

Emptied my umpteenth shopmissa aoa artista liquid liner in black. I have all the colors and backups. They are a brush liner.
I just went through another bottle of the ordinary niacinamide serum and immediately opened my backup. I never buy backups but I do with that serum. I have oily and acne prone skin and it helps so much with skin healing (even if it does smell kind of like onions)

I scraped clean Elf makeup melting balm last night and had already purchased a back up when my son misplaced it. I did repurchase the Physicians Formula face palette. I rarely ever buy backups or repurchase – but I just started a new bottle of elf Triple Boost Hydrating Serum. Best Hyaluronic serum around. Also, I'm probably on my third bottle of Covergirl matte made, shade L70. I mix a few drops of it into pretty much everything to adjust any foundation to my skin tone. What else…oh, and what I have repurchased several times now and always will: the belief aqua bomb. If my skin has a prissy day, it doesn't like anything but this.
I'm trying to lower my shame threshold of returning products that don't work for me (or resell them on mercari). I feel that if I buy a high end product, I shouldn't need to 'make it work' and finagle it every which way. Sometimes it's really just my skin or my face, but if I have to purchase extra stuff to make another pricey product work…nah.
Oh, I almost always go ahead and use up things I bought, even if they’re not perfect. Unless they cause some sort of reaction or are so intolerable I can’t stand them. For example I did recently throw away a target brand sunscreen that was simply disgusting! It would be different if I had someone to pass my rejects on to or if I had a bunch of free products coming to me to where I had more of a choice, but yes if I buy something, I’m going to go ahead and use it up in most cases. I don’t think that is a flaw, at least not for my life.
I'm finding it so cute how often content creators are saying, "I don't usually like a floral fragrance, but strangely enough, I really like this one even though it's floral!" And myself included. I recently received a floral fragrance as a free sample, and I adore it! Are florals getting better, or are we just getting older and more grannified??

I had a similar experience with an expensive serum once (it was $80, I did get it on sale). The bare minimum for me was for a product to be moisturizing, but no. It almost felt like I was putting water on my skin. I only buy based off of ingredients now!
Love Amika! I love the dry shampoo, their hair masks, and the overnight hydrating treatment. I also loved the Mirrorball shampoo & conditioner. They had a manufacturing issue with the shampoo so it’s not available right now, but the conditioner is. It’s good for colored hair. Maybe something to pair with Big Hit next time?
