Gorgeous concept! Wow. Interesting that the male archetype was in the night with moonlight (the moon being traditionally considered feminine), while the female archetype in the day with the sunlight (the sun being traditionally masculine). The symbology of "the Fool" is not about being made a fool, but being thought of as a fool, not naïve/ignorant but rather accepting the unknowable.
Prior to this I had only gone through the photographs of the collection which made it super enjoyable to hear the ‘co-reviewers’ and your thoughts on the video!
I quite enjoyed, too, the ‘play’ on gender here. I know that this is haute couture, but I’m going to make a comparison to MGC for Dior’s ready-to-wear: instead of those wretched slogan T’s (cringing that I used to own one, can you say “FASHION VICTIM”?) and ‘try hard’ (probably not the best adjective to describe them) runway show sets, why haven’t MGC/the Dior design team explored before these themes as to what was displayed in this video without all the tasteless stuff I just mentioned.This indeed was a breath of fresh air compared to previous collections over the past years at Dior with Ms. MGC. Although, I think like you hinted, I’m not sure if she’ll be remain consistent from now on 😜

I am glad the fortune teller at the beginning was 'of a certain age' rather than an 18 year old.
I rather liked the show. The only time since she took over that I have thought anything positive at all about Dior. (Probably that is over-dramatic!) But the dresses looked beautifully and luxuriously created.
Back in the 1980s, Maggie Tabberer (Australian fashion guru) created a show which was catwalk, but she had filmed images projected behind and it was telecast. I remember seeing it at the time and thinking it very effective.

Moschino's lil show with Dita was great too- obviously much different than this but so cute and works so well
I didn’t like it. It’s too dark, you can barely see the clothes. And all the dresses are very similar, one or two pieces have potential to stand out.
