   ha HA! I literally paused this video, to run to my front loading washer and spray down the rubber gasket seal, wipe it out, then ran a cycle with vinegar and a cleaning pod! my older model doesn't have a hatch to access a filter…. hmmm ? never knew about cleaning out a filter. wonder if my washer has one? next up, the dishwasher! thank you for the inspiration!

   Thanks for all the cleaning tips! Don't know if anyone has already explained the meaning of irony, but there are two things. Situational irony is getting the opposite of what you expected, as described in Alanis songs. Verbal irony is when you say something but mean the opposite. However, within verbal irony one can also be sarcastic, depending on the tone. So for example, "Great weather, eh?" is ironic when said in the pouring rain, and there's no hurting or mocking anyone here. This line, “Oh fantastic, so glad you could finally join us.” is both ironic and sarcastic if it is said in the right tone.

   I use castile soap and baking soda to wash and vinegar in the rinse. Dryer balls in the dryer. No problems with using the vinegar.

    Hi, Aussie here, I have a question about your screens – why are they on the inside of your windows? How do you open the window? In Australia our flyscreens are always on the outside, and to clean them they just need hosing down.

    So sarcasm is a form of irony. Verbal irony. What you’re referring to, (a free ride when you’ve already paid) is situational irony.

    I know this is a year late but I NEED you to know that there’s a parody of that Alanis Moreset song called “It’s Finally Ironic” that changes the lyrics and gives actual examples of irony in the song. I think you would love it.

    Ps, if I misspelled anything or got the title wrong, it’s because I watched it in high school in my literature class. The song still lives rent free in my head though, haha!

    8:46 Our repairman told us to periodically wash our filter. I had NO IDEA! But the dryer wasn’t working very well and that was why.

    You're fun! I use 50% Dawn/50% white vinegar for showers and the like, and I 50% white vinegar/50% water to all purpose clean. It's a lot cheaper than any other cleaners and it is fantastic.

    9:25 Your fabric softener is what will clog the dryer vent. It's better (and cheaper!) to use vinegar in the wash.

    I just place paper towels in my fridge. No cleaning required. Just wipe anything, toss and replace after you shop before you put stuff away.

    You really got my head thinking there the end, and I got into an argument with my Alexa too! 😂 Then I started thinking "what other words do I not know the correct meanings of?" I asked about sarcasm Alexa said it was basically the same thing. I asked about something being "fortuitous " and that was not the answer I was looking for. I know what you mean, and I think we are correct in our understanding, just not making sense the specific wording for the definition. I was laughing so hard when you argued with Alexa, I do it all the time, and mostly tell her to STOP! When she's not giving me the answer I need. 😂😅 Great cleaning tips too!

    After seeing this dishwasher and checking mine….Im so happy I have a self cleaning dishwasher with a garbage disposal and no filter that must be cleaned.. I didn't even know I had gotten one with a garbage disposal at one point because we got it from a bump and dent place and it was totally an impulse and my husband was a jerk the night before so I bought a he bought me dishwasher. ( note that it was fine I got a dishwasher and I was "allowed" to just spend the money, normally I wouldn't spend that kind of money without speaking with him first.)

    I'm so glad I found you!! I was gagging with you😂 you are so relatable. I tend to hyper focus when I start cleaning and then end up exhausted and overwhelmed. Taking short cuts like this will help. I grew up with a mom like yours! Every Saturday everyone got up early and work deep cleaning for hours. My mom even would pull our bedspread off to check if the sheets were tightly on the bed.
