  1. I rather take a light layer and apply it on my face and avoid under eyes , i have acne but it works As good.

  2. Some Vaseline alternatives that are plant based have a much better effect in the skin than normal vaseline. Vaseline also isn’t cruelty free, so that’s another reason to chose natural alternatives 😊

  3. For the ones who dont know you should deff sludge if you have dry skin but NOT in summers, In summers it can deff give bumps on your face

  4. No, just because you are wrinkled and look like my mums grandma’s leather handbag, doesn’t mean it’s from Vaseline. Vaseline is very good for hydration on your face and your brows and lashes! So get a skincare and guys keep using Vaseline! ❤

  5. You’re not supposed to be putting products under the eye area. Eye creams are an exception. But other than that, stay below or at the orbital bone. I get eye milia when I accidentally go up too high. But I’ve never gotten milia from slugging. I stay under my orbital bone with the Vaseline. Skincare travels anyways, so your under eye will still get the benefits.

  6. I have a solution
Mix the petroleum jelly with castor oil

Milia happens when the petroleum jelly blocks dead skin cells from sloughing off naturally

So firstly exfoliate regularly or use a chemical exfoliating face wash
Always wash your face before applying moisturizer and serums and THEN apply petroleum jelly

Second, add castor oil to the petroleum jelly because castor oil is antibacterial and anti inflammatory which heals and prevents milia
Castor oil should already be used regularly around your eyes, on your eyebrows, and your lashes

So either apply castor oil before the petroleum jelly and let it soak in a bit, or mix it with the petroleum jelly which also thins out the petroleum jelly so it’s not as intense

  7. I HAVE THAT TOO I JS SLUGGED TODAY TYSM FOR TELLING ME I’m no longer using Vaseline on my face

  8. for them who dont know what is milia? Milia is sort of pimple or blister.
    thank me later

  9. Me too and I can't get rid of it. I can't even use the normal moisturizers I used to use bc it causes redness around the milia…. Idek what to do 😭 my skin used to be clear

  10. Slugging is not for oily, acne prone skin. You’re supposed to slug at night two hours before bed. Then wash your face as soon as you wake up..proceed with your normal skincare routine.

  11. I don't know a lot about this technique but I'm pretty sure you shouldn't apply Vaseline around your eyes and according to a dermatologist I follow you should do it once a week. Still, nothing really works for everyone and if it doesn't work for you stop doing it or talk to a professional

  12. I have very oily skin and I’m acne prone but I decided to try it and it cleared my face so much and I no longer have redness or acne anymore but for a few minor spots

  13. I just watched a video by Dr Sherene Idriss, who said slugging itself shouldn't cause milia unless you're genetically predisposed, have sun damage or smoke

  14. Thats your fault because peop,e did alot of warning videos clearly you dont know how to listen and use your ears😊

  15. I exfoliated my milia with a cheap derma-plane razor then went to sleep with Vaseline on my face and my skin feels and looks amazing and the milia took way longer to come back and when it finally did, it was VERY minimal

Not telling anyone to go do this, just what worked for me

  16. thank goodness u warnes me of this bc I get really bad millia and was wondering if i should try slugging so this is so helpsul

Fica a diga, galera!

  18. I have so many pimples and my face was red and my nose my cheeks and none of it will go away in each day it would keep building up skin care so I decided to not do skincare for a week to see if that worked it worked but once I did skincare again because I have extremely sensitive and dry skin I got red and a bunch of pimples again and then I saw that Vaseline could help with that stuff so I used Vaseline and it's been two whole weeks now and by now if I didn't use Vaseline in my face will be all beat up so I love Vaseline and I have the Korean glowy skin you guys might think it's not for everybody but even people with prone acne skin used it and their acne like went away very fast or it helped a lot so in my opinion you should try but don't do slugging like take a bunch and put it on your face no take a very thin layer probably like two or one or two fingers very thin that is not going to be too sticky and put on your face trust me it helps but if you put a lot then expected to be harder to take off and also less is more so in that case put less vaseline on your face like I said two or three fingers also don't put it around your eyes because I don't put it around my dark circles and my skin is still good so the only thing to not do is put it around your dark circles and the rest of your face is good and I even put it in my hands for the winter my elbows and a little bit of my legs and then after that you'll be good hope this helped bye❤

  19. Not everyone can slug with just Vaseline (like using ceraVe or aquaphor) and you have to wash and exfoliate regularly before slugging to get the full benefits.

Even using the wrong moisturizer or products before slugging can be the cause
