I think 🤔 because you add oat extract which is water soluble you definitely need the preservative. If 100% only oil and the emulsifiers, you wouldn't need it.

Hi, Tara! I am planning on formulating a cleanser I can personally use. Regarding the oat extract, can I use a hydrolyzed oat protein? It's a water-soluble plant extract, I was just wondering since it's not exactly oat, but oat protein.

Nice to look at 😊 but by the time I bought ingredients, including scale, stirrer etc and prepared this , I would have spent a lot less monies by buying a good cleansing oil 😅
