   I am a fellow scent-a-holic and finding someone who can articulate the experience of scent as well as you do is an extraordinary rarity.

   I was moved almost to tears as you experienced Piguet’s Fracas. It is a heavy, world weary and yet devastatingly seductive scent and you captured it in all of its complexity to perfection. Bravo and thank you!

   This is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. I first tried it when I was in my late teens, and it just put me in another world. What I like so much is that it’s a floral that’s not weak and bright, it’s got a bite, and it’s a complicated scent that had multiple personalities as you said. Madonna, Courtney Love, Marilyn Monroe, and Iman also wear Fracas. Thanks for this review, you were spilt on. It’s not for everyone but for the right ones.

    You sold me on this. It’s been on my Saks want list forever and I finally blind but went for it. I adore complex powerful fragrances with a touch of melancholy. I only have ever cried once over the intense emotion evoked by a fragrance. When you described Fracas this way I knew I had to have it. You are a beautiful human and an absolute artist at describing the art that is perfumery.

    I love listening to your poetic reviews whilst revisiting old loves.

    Fracas is the female Dominant, but not the loving caretaker type. She's the Sadist who will take pleasure in your pain. You will be so distracted by her scent you willingly agree to the negotiations she brings to the table. After all, how much can it really hurt? She's far too put together to hurt you!
    GenZ submissives (of age) need not apply. She knows they cannot handle the amount of notes in the opening of Fracas in a complete perfume and, will spoil her fun calling RED.

    Robert Piguet wasn't a banker at all, it's his father. Robert when he was young made dress for the dolls oh his cousins. His family wasn't pleased by this orientation. He was born in the town of Yverdon-les-Bains. (Thermal Bath) in Switzerland. Come here and enjoy the place and the Museum

    I tried Fracus – I finally figured out it was a disgusting fragrences on me. My sister, a Scorpio wears it like a German Valcurian opera, horned Helmut and all. The fury of it, terrifying you can't look away. Death is death, but there exist sweeter levels….

    I believe Coco Chanel could wear Fracas in her 2 war spy fase, although it was released in 1948… kind of fantasmagoric seduction.. here in Brasil we have a kind of feminine spirits in our culture wich has exactly your description of Fracas… love it! ❤

    I know someone who worked on the Michael Jackson “Remember the Time” music video and the first thing they remembered on set was how amazing Iman smelt! I told them this is her perfume!

    I totally understand, I am 60 today but I first used this when I was 16, I am from Guam, I was so impressed by it being from France and I’m living in Guam. Somehow who ever owned the store in Guam, found this to be one of the greatest perfumes. I love it til NOW. You hit it on the nail, how you described everything, really made me think about your review. Love your heart, God bless you!

    I bought Fracas Eau de Perfum and the Eau de Fraiche and the Fracas body lotion. I love it. Fracas is a favorite fragrance of Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Edie Sedgwick, supermodel Iman and Courtney Love.

    I bought three bottles of the 3.4 oz EDP and 3 bottles of the body lotion. Amazing!!!
