Trying to retain a sense of normality (and provide a bit of escapism) in very weird times, so if this isn’t your cup of tea then please do skip over!

  1. No keep them coming , we all have to keep beasy and us ladys that love make up ..then why not , love you hun xx💋❤✌🏼 soooo so cool and beautiful

  2. I think it’s sad that we have to explain why we want to be frivolous .. it’s nice to talk about something other than the dreaded lurgy .. and it’s sad that there are those out there are only happy when they can take offence at a flippant but innocent remark. Ell done Ruth you brightened my day. 😂💕

  3. Just love the content. I need distractions.. into week three and I just appreciate these videos. Things can feel heavy and you help lighten my day. Hope you and your family stay safe and healthy.

  4. Thanks for your videos, especially now, in this strange period!
    a big hug from Italy!

  5. Hi, you have came up on my feed again. Your cashmere sweater/jumper is lovely. I'm a bit of a frankincense fan too. A few drops of frankincense essential oil in a bowl of warm water and using a face towel to press on the skin is one of my favorite things to do … so very soothing, and makes the skin look and feel so vibrant. You can add lavender essential oil too. Thanks for sharing some of your favourites. Neal Yard's frankincense cleanser looks like something I would like.

  6. HI Ruth. I think all your videos are terrific and yes, even tho it may seem trivial right now, U r a breath of fresh air to this New Yorker. We are all in this together, keep up the good work. I find your voice so soothing and look forward to ALL of your vids.. kEEP SAFE. LOVE FROM USA

  7. All over the world we are having to make huge changes to the way we normally live our lives but it is comforting that some things remain the same. YouTube includes many fabulous vloggers who are working hard to entertain us and break up the bad news that is all around . Thank you the work you put into your videos, your sweet face is a delight. Although the new normal is staying home I’ve made a point of dressing each day and doing my hair and makeup. Thank goodness for the internet and home shopping – stay safe and well 🇦🇺💐

  8. Thank you for these videos!! Love watching beauty stuff for a change…for other more important things, we have the news.. Yoyr videos are a nice break from the reality! Thank you and please do mor. Love xxx

  9. Thank you Ruth! I think beauty is a way to practise mindfulness. A beautiful hand cream smell will draw your attention to the moment for example. So personally I love your videos.

  10. That must be an old Soaper Duper product as they don’t make hand soaps anymore, just the body washes. Plus they don’t make Tuba Rose anymore. BUT the company is promoting their body washes as hand soaps as they are lovely big bottles. There is a discount code on the website to help with the current health situation and promote good handwashing!!

  11. 🤗😁 Entertaining as always Ruth! Love a bit of frivolous now and then and laughter is such a good energy, so thank you for the video. Wishing the best for you and all the family 💖🙏🏼

  18. Really appreciate this Ruth! I do need a bit of frivolous beauty distraction. I’ve been finding, skin care, perfume and make up to be a great morale booster. Something I can control! Also brings a bit of glamour to my life. Thanks for all your videos. I love frankincense too
