I joined the EDF at the year of 2019 (EDF4)
I really liked the video. The game I played the most was EDF 5. Although many people didn't like it, I really liked Iron Rain and Insect Armagedon. The first one I played was 2025, which I discovered in a top on YouTube. I would like to see Argo appear in some new game, which is an enemy that I really liked. Greetings from Salta, Argentina.
Imported EDF 6 and played it on PS5. No regrets whatsoever. Double dipped when the official English western release came out. Totally planning on importing the next EDF, as well. You're in the Discord so hopefully we'll still see you there when that comes out.
Edf7 when?!
EDF seems to also have some lost keitai media it seems, hopefully it gets recovered soon as only a year remains before those get lost forever. I love to play some of those myself if they get found and dumped.
I wish they would release EDF 2: Invaders from Planet Space on Steam. I played Global Defence Force, but I would love to play as the Air Raider.
I wish we could have a return to the Global Defense Force: Tactics, it seems like such a good game!
Ahhhh if only HQ(Publisher) didn’t do terrible job with the epic thing. Maybe we could had decent amount of audience 🥲.
Oh well a least Japan and PlayStation had good positivity (despite already low numbers ps players thanks to Helldivers 2 thing)

This was a really well put together video, nice one! My wife and I are big fans of the EDF series, we think 4.1 and World Brothers have been our favourites so far, with 6 not far behind.

Was introduced to the series with GDF (Global Defense Force), it probably holds the title for the highest enemy variety before edf 5 & 6 came along, as we can see its legacy on subsequent titles appearing in some shapes or forms (excluding Alpha and Beta, they are always there from the beginning)
