Skyrim's Orcs have an unusual advantage...

Orcs in Skyrim have the Berserker Rage power which makes them do double damage and take half as much damage. It only boosts your physical damage though so magic is not included. Archery IS included, and the effect stacks on other effects, meaning Dark Brotherhood characters with the right setup can get a 60x sneak attack multiplier.

  1. This is my most used playstyle. Basically if you have the assassin's blade effect, Max out the armsman perks and get duel savagery, get the hand wraps, duel wield two legendary dragonbone daggers with a damage of 64 if you max everything out, use berserker rage, pair this so together which should double the already doubled then bam, can instakill almost anything. If you do regular combat with them, try to get some peerless daedric gauntlets of wielding which are very rare but will be very helpful, get jewelry with the wielding enchantment, preferably with maxed enchanter perks and the the extra effect one that is not needed but will still be helpful, enchant every item that allows it, Max out duel flurry, Max elemental flurry, turn on beserker range, then you strike so fast with so much damage that you become unkillable. Maxed daedric armor with heal enchantments and the middle enchantment of recommended for an even less chance of being killed

  2. Werewolf orcs are fierce as well using the beserker rage when you transform passes to the werewolf form giving you unbridled strength 💪

  3. I combined sneak and the orc's rage ability, while I was playing with heavy armor, an amber dagger with paralyze on it and the paralyze spell in the other hand. Not even dragons had their fun with me, because the paralyze spell staggers them. This prevents them from using their breath attacks and after a few staggers they're forced to land. I never had to use a shout to force them down to me. 😂

Also I killed Karstaag in two attacks, because I used the rage and sneak while standing on his throne as he spawned in. After that, one more heavy attack was enough. I needed a few times to pull this up, but it absolutely worked twice in a row.

Also… my character was at lvl 40 or a bit lesser when I killed him.

  4. I always end up stealth archer no matter what build I say I want..BUT never have I ever tried stealth archer orc build!! 100th playthrough here I come!

  5. Recently started a pure magic build as an orc, not even bound weapons, so when I run out of magika… it's beserk fisting time

  6. Another key aspect that most people forget is that they have a perk for smithing. If you use any other race to sharpen your weapons and refine your armor they can only increase it to "fine" in the early game until you level up your smithing. However, with orcs you can immediately refine any armor and weapons that you have to "Superior" off the bat from starting gameplay

  7. This reminds me of a video Shad did on Orcs in general fantasy. He came to a conclusion that the best weapon for orcs are bows based on their tremendous strength.
"A match made in Heaven, or in hell if you have to fight them."

  8. Ever since skyrim came out, I've pretty much only played orc, what I've gathered is that damage received is halved this counts for both magic and physical damage received

  9. 90% of the characters ive made have been orcs, because they're my favourite race just on aesthetics, but i never bother using berserker at all, and still aleayys end up having 1 shot finishing power anyway.

  10. For me is aways inverse , I use stealth archer in beggining when my char is weak so i can stack some damage before the enemy gets close , but once I upgrade smithing and enchanting my char became a killdozer trashing mobs so fast that followers are only loot mules

  11. Okay
    I was stealth archer
I am now altmer mage (wearing robes)
Now I have new idea for character…
    Ultimate dagger assasin

  12. Stealth archer always seems the best route when your brain has not fully developed. There are mage builds that can simply whirlwind sprint into a vicinity and nuke everything through the walls. None of that slow inefficient sneaking around.

  13. Yep 🏹🎯‼️

My current build. Tip: collect all Slow Time shouts and couple that with Orc Racial Power = Beast Mode (even on Legendary)

If thats not enough then farm Canis Root, Imp Stool & Mora Topinella for an absolutely disgusting paralyze/poison potion & Canis Root + Juniper Berries for Fortify Marksman potion that will absolutely destroy and trivialise any combat sitch.

  14. It makes werewolf transformations more powerful. If you use your berserk ability before you transform you'll retain it when you finish it.

  15. I can honestly say I've put 1,000+ hours into Skyrim and never played a stealth archer. I stayed strong against the cheese 🙏
