The precipitation effects for rain and snow could’ve been better, the first one is so much more realistic.
I noticed in forbidden west, when it was raining, it would only rain within a 10 foot radius of alloy and not rain the whole area

Whilst i am annoyed they remastered a game that's not that old i appreciate them going above and beyond with the changes the games look so much better in almost all areas

So many improvements around the board. It just looks amazing. The only thing bothering me is the color grading. Good thing it's only ten bucks on steam to upgrade to this edition. I'm going to try re-color grade it by changing monitor values to see if I can match the original.
Kinda wish they'd give a discount to people who already own the original but wth, this looks dope might grab it and go for another playthrough I wanna see how carja outfits look

Everything looks much better, but I absolutely hate the rain and snow in the remastered version. Feels like they're trying to show the new engine is capable of showing every single rain drop

Man the original character models were rough. Aloy face looks like a mannequin.
Aloy looks a bit different. The eyes are a bit bigger and a bit closer together in the old one. It may be because I met her like that first, but I prefer the old model. On the other hand, at least I can tell it’s her, I can’t say the same about Peter Parker…
The remaster certainly looks very detailed and nice but I like that the colors pop a bit more and are brighter with the OG. Aloy's hair looks more colorful, and it helps a lot to distinguish the character form the environment. The trees and grasses look more colorful. I feel like often remasters tone down colors in games and I'm not always a fan. It looks beautiful but less like an actual video game. Also grass vegetation density is a bit overrated I think that just distracts and clutters the screen from the actual gameplay. Still again it looks very beautiful
Cavolo, non pensavo che le remanstered di PS5 potessero essere veramente utili. TLOU Part 1 e Horizont Zero Down sono le uniche remanstered di cui forse… ne avevamo bisogno…
In tutti gl ialtri casi sono """remanstered""". Sono le stesse versioni con 2 FPS in più, le ombre con 1 pixel in meno e i contrasti di lucr più scuri, nel resto, compreso le luci e la vegetazione, è tutto identico

Aloy looks much better – don't like the rest of the changes, IDK the colors match the more boring second game? Why, they were perfect and lack now the distinctive look they had.

in some cases it does look better, but in some like the rain the original looks better. but this game just did not need a remaster at all.
Remastered? Dude how desperate are these mega corporations to squeeze up to the last penny their customer wallets, but more importantly who is even buying this sort of cashgrabs whats wrong with people
If we buy the upgrade will we still be able to switch to the original game on the PS5 ? I mean is there a button in the option that allows us to choose wich version we want to play with ? Or if we buy this upgrade there is no way back to the original ? 🙂
Remastered looks like how i remember the original. That's…weird. Anyway, I loved the game.
Some of the atmosphere feels off in the remaster, but this doesn't do justice to the resolution and clarity bump. Also, the upgrade to mouth movement and teeth shape is huge in terms of game experience.

For me Horizon Zero Dawn is still "new" like with the graphics and everything that I don't really think it needs to be remastered. Other much older pre-ps4/5 games are what needed the most. Sony is really pushing Horizon
I hope they add a filter as this game ages. I prefer the original it looks better than the remaster. It pops out more in terms of texture the green moss on the original is definitely better. The remaster feels like a setback
