I started a new game, rode in the carriage as usual, avoided the execution, and ran up the tower stairs with Ralof. After that, I reached Ralof and Hadvar, who were urging me to join them. But since, in this playthrough, I fear them more than the dragon, I decided to wait. After a while, Alduin flew straight to me, and here’s what happened.

I experienced a similar bug where it was delayed. The moment I go back down the stairs and up again it was fixed seems to be a bug triggered based on how fast you speed run the game in that opening sequence

I had it bug where the hole was in the wall but Alduin wasnt there lol it was weird going thru all the scripted events without alduin being there lol

I had that not breaking through glitch the first time I tried to play Skyrim. I ended up giving up after a few tries and didn't play the game for like 2 weeks after buying it.
why didn't you hide in one of the house where Alduin couldn't reach you instead of serving yourself up on a silver plater for diner, try that next time👍

You don’t have to reset the game. If you go back behind ralof after you gone past him alduin will barge thru the wall.

I’ve had this bug to. It happens if you go up the stairs too fast, but alduin will break through the wall if you go back down.
How did you get the binds off if you didn't enter the keep?
That glitch with Aldiun happened to me also, it was on one of my Skyrim vr play throughs though so kinda to be expected

That's happened to me the first time I played it in 2011. I just had no idea where to go. That or got a bug where both of them disappeared for me once I jumped from the tower.
There’s a Prisoner Autosave after the carriage ride before you lock in your name and character.
My first ever time playing Skyrim, it ended this way for me, as I couldn't decide who to follow 😊
