played this game until there was nothing left to do
I would have loved it. I found the first one just scrollin thru hundreds of PlayStation store games looking for something that looked good for once. I loved it for what it was not many that can make a good story it’s all battle royale now no more story games
I played this game in lockdown, and let me tell you I got hooked so quick I was up at 2am playing and exploring the open world, I absolutely loved this game and then left us on a cliff hanger! We NEED days gone 2. You literally know what you need to do to make it better and Improve it. I loved the hordes as well they were terrifying but I love the evolution of the virus, that’s what really freaked me but caught my attention because I love stuff like that
The reason it failed was the original advertising. It just showed a guy chased by a thousand zombies. No bike fixing no story no nothing. Get advertising right is important.
There is no reason a sequel. Everything was done in days gone. A sequel would be stupid.
At first I was saying to myself this not a type of game I would play but after playing it for a hour I realized the game was way better than I thought & graphics was mind blowing
Cut out the middleman, just make several expansions to the original title rather than make a new game!
I really dislike this trend of make the end of videos blend into the beginning.
It mechanically constrains the content you're trying to present and leaves a cheap after taste.

Days gone is my preffered TLOU2, just from a narrative stand point.
I still can’t believe it hasn’t ever gotten a sequel. It was the best zombie game, but the critics didn’t understand it, or they didn’t pay them well enough. Everyone I know. Who has played it, absolutely loved it. Was a bit slow at first, but it really hit its stride.
I just finished days gone, is there a sequel or is it still a work in progress?
They canceled it in exchange for a last of us remaster if I remember correctly
Fun fact: Voice actor who played Boozer from Days Gone also played Angelo Bronte from RDR 2
They were really setting it up for a confrontation with NERO and as the virus mutates, the possibility for more creatures was there, as well. I really hope we see a sequel.

everything "could" have been great, but well never know what they actually planned on doing until they create and release the game. of course the devs will say it's a 10/10 game when they haven't even made it.

Im honestly devestated that a sequal of days gone was rejected. This game was incredible and has all the potential for a continuation to further this story line. I mean it was left in a way that we NEED more.

My all-time ever favourite… played since release day and I force myself to have breaks from it to maintain the love I have for it.
Never has a game spent as much time in my console as Days Gone.
Sony really need to re-think the future of this game.
