Dark Souls III is a 2016 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. The third and final entry in the Dark Souls series, it is played in a third-person perspective, and players have access to various weapons, armour, magic, and consumables that they can use to fight their enemies. Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of the series, returned to direct the game after handing the development duties of Dark Souls II to others.

    Such a great game, the DLCs especially the Ringed City is goated. This game has my all time favorite Soulsborne boss fight and OST. Lots of killer bosses and OSTs in this game. If you liked Elden Ring and Bloodborne then you'll like DS3

    Makes me wanna re-pick up the trilogy and play as a spellcaster! Had much more fun as one in my Elden Ring games!

    Hopefully you are playing the Fire Fades version with the two very tough DLC!

    Yeah using the kick needs getting used to. To put it simply: you have to push the movement stick forward and press R1, or soft attack, at the same time.
    To put it more elaborately: the game checks whether the value (a floating point number from 0.0 to 1.0) Y-axis on the analog stick has increased during the last frame update. So you could try and think "I have to push forward movement and soft attack at the same time, but I have to start with moving forward slightly ahead." That's about the best explanation I could come up with. And let me tell you, even after a thousand hours playing this game, I still miss that kick sometimes. But it's a very useful move against enemies with a shield. So it's kinda worth learning, especially if you're not using a heavy weapon that easily breaks guard thus being pretty useful when running a DEX build.
