With Union X now at it’s conclusion it makes more sense than ever, especially with what was revealed within it’s ending, that this would have to be the most deserving & logical Kingdom Hearts game to receive a Remake.

  1. Personally, I feel like Re:Union (This is the title. Let's all just collectively agree on it I mean, c'mon.) would work as an MMO. Our turkey lord brings up a lotta good points and, heck, we even saw in 0.2 that the dressing up aqua with little accessories means the dev team can do customization. All they gotta do is expand on it a little to make a full blown character creator and then bam. From that point the gameplay could be translated to the standard KH formula real easily.

  2. We just need a streamlined version of this story. One that makes more sense a better structure and all that. Whether that would be a sort back cover movie, regular game, mmorpg or a series of sorts doesn't matter we need it

  3. I find it funny how fans used to shit on Normura for making the games convoluted, and even nonsensical to many players, yet now that this revelation has come out, almost everyone is praising the unexpected plot twist and how brilliant and forward-thinking Normura was all this time.

That's why sometimes it's better to just shut the f*** up and let things play out before you go judging whether the story is coherent or not.

  4. Jared: Talking about the possible remake.
Me: Eyeing the two Chuckie (and bride, I honestly forgot her name) dolls in the left corner of the room

  5. I feel like we don't know some of the characters' voices for a reason, because they're trying to keep their identity hidden for awhile. For example if Sterlitzia was actually in the Final World, hearing her voice actor in UX would spoil the surprise

  6. i also want Remake for this game and make it a Final Fantasy 14 Style Remake RE:Union is the perfect name for it

  7. I could definitely see them doing a kingdom hearts 3.5 remix with kingdom hearts 3 final mix, kingdom hearts melody of memory, and re:union and dark road movie

  8. I honestly love this series so much, I'd sit back and watch a 12 hour movie (or Disney+ show *nudge nudge*) covering the story of Kingdom Hearts χ and Union χ

  9. I know they just finished the story but I just finished all the other games and wanted to start Union X but it’s kinda hard to get into Union X this late in

  10. The future of the franchise being based on a phone game is absurd and will lead to a decline.

  11. i liked union x but it just got so pay to win and you eventually need those new metals to even progress through the story.

  12. I think it need to be a Disney+ TV show instead. The player can be named after Tetsuya. Season 1 can be everything leading up to the Keyblade War, Season 2 will focus on finding Strelitzia, and season 3 can be dealing with Darkness and escaping the world’s destruction. Only game that truly needs to be remade is Days

  13. A remake or at least translations in other languages than English or Japanese. Like if re:coded was translated for every country it has been released, UX should at least get the same treatment 😅

  14. The whole X saga (Because yes, X, Unchained X, and Union X were all distinct things) needs to be remade as one cohesive package.

  15. I think making a KHUX movie isn’t a possible just because of all the lore and important cutscenes in the game, including Dark Road.

  16. Kingdom Hearts Re:Union X could be a huge success. I know we’re getting Missing Link but I think we’ve had enough phone games. I feel like RE:Union X could work “like” an mmo but have a mostly single player story campaign showing all the necessary cutscenes and then have a second mode (mission mode like from Days) where you connect with players online and fight heartless raid battles and raid dungeons together. I just feel like there is “SO MUCH” important story content that will likely be important to Kingdom Hearts IV with Strelitzia already being shown in the trailer and interacting with Sora. There us for sure gonna be some refrences to events mainstream Kingdom Hearts players and new players won’t “get” because they didn’t play the phone game or watch any cutscenes due to it being very “niche” in it’s presentation. Imagine every scene remastered in 3D unreal engine 4 style. The scene where you pick your union, the scene where you encounter dark Chirithy, Kingdom Hearts being summoned, the dream world, maleficent and “darkness” having a conversation, the master of master’s true intentions, the origin of Scala Ad Caelum. So on and so forth, it’s all there.

  17. And now that we know Strelitzia is alive from the KH4 trailer, Union X and Back Cover is way more important now more then ever. I feel like they will make some sort of remake will be made before KH4 will release. Cross our fingers!

  18. I would like all the KH “movies” to be remade. It still doesn’t make sense why they did not put forth the effort to remake the games that were literally the 1.5 2.5 and 2.8 of the series.

  19. the most outrageos thing about union x not having a remake yet is the fact that most of the main cast already has most of the models ready or is going to be made eventually models for them, lauriam and elrena is jut make a younger version of marluxia and larxene(wich is far easier than making a model from 0) the foretellers, mom and luxu already have one due to back cover, ephemer already has a model due to 3 strelitzia is getting a model in 4 brain is getting one in missing link and sculd will have one when they introduce X into the table, this is without counting ventus and vanitas and the generic wielders that also have models due to back cover

  20. The artwork and gameplay style of KH Union X is kind of unique compared to anything else in the KH series.

In that sense, SE could just build a more accessible game around the artwork and assets that already exist, rather than doing a full-blown 3D remake.
