So over three years after The Last of Us 2 and its ending, we are finally getting a remastered PS5 version of the game with The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered which will be releasing on January 19th, 2024 only on the PS5! “The Last of Us 2 Remastered” which will be the PS5 Definitive version of Abby and Ellie’s Journey. Experience The Last of Us Part II Remastered’s deep combat via an entirely new single-player mode! Survive as long as you can in each run, as you choose your path through a series of randomized encounters featuring different foes and memorable locations from throughout Part II, all culminating in tense boss battles. Unique gameplay modifiers can offer new and unexpected challenges as you fight to succeed – and survive – in a host of different encounter types. Play as Ellie, Abby, and a variety of unlockable characters, including never-before-playable characters like Dina, Jesse, Lev, Tommy, and more, each with unique traits to offer a variety of playstyles, and unlock skins for them as you progress to use in the mode. With Ellie’s balanced playstyle in No Return, you can switch between crafting, shooting, and melee with ease to survive in this roguelike mode. Will you be playing it?! No Return, is a roguelike survival mode designed to let players prove their mettle in randomized encounters and experience The Last of Us Part II’s combat in a fresh experience. The mode includes a host of playable characters to choose from – some playable for the first time in The Last of Us franchise (which you may have spotted in our trailer) – who each come with their own traits to suit different playstyles. Players will chart their own course on each run, choosing between various stealth and combat encounters that will pit you against a range of enemies, with unique twists that can add new, unexpected factors to any given encounter.

    You think, oh no I died fighting Abby, have to restart, but then put it in realistic and we are playing with no intention of death like it is in a show or movie.

    Oh boy I can’t wait to enjoy this ALONE and NOT with friends online oh boy. Screw naughty dog. I’ll never forgive them for not giving us a new multiplayer experience like factions. Kinda makes me not even want to play their games anymore

    I don't know whether it's coming to ps4 but after playing Valhalla on previous gen consoles I would expect Naughty Dog to do the same as well. Also a second point I wanna mention is that they want 10 bucks for this expansion. Again after playing Valhalla without paying any price and seeing the quality and good storytelling I wonder what's the reason of putting a price tag on this dlc. I'm not buying this so called "remastered" thing so please can someone explain why?

    For one, we should all boycott this game unless they announce part three, but I will be honest if there ever is a zombie apocalypse, wearing a spaceman suit would be pretty good protection out there

    I know naughty dog doesn’t want to open multiplayer servers but can it at least be local co-op.PLEASE. I would pay real money to see teenage Ellie fight with tlou2 Joel in astronaut suits

    Still depressed we aint getting another factions… that is to date my favourite online experience! Nothing else compares to the thrill of that online mode, but a survival type mode is also a win i cant lie! But still sad as hell.
