Ranking Every Souls Game Easiest to Hardest (Including Elden Ring)

Today, we’re ranking each one of the souls games by FromSoftware from easiest to hardest. This includes Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. I wanted to rank each game by difficulty in my own opinion because they all have unique elements that set them apart from each other and cause separate kinds of difficulty.

  1. Good Rank. Dark Souls 2 is the hardest Dark Souls but for the same reason I think Demon's Souls is pretty similar, hardest then Dark Souls 1 in my opinion so my rank would be: Bloodborne, Sekiro, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls

  2. I didn't played Bloodborne and Demon souls (playstation issue) but I've beaten the rest of the games and DS2 SOTFS was the hardest for me, (the others were hard of course but not like SOTFS). Its strange because I think DS2 has the easiest bosses of all fromsoft games

  3. I beat bloodborne with several different builds but never made it all the way through sekiro or DS3

  4. Ofc a game is going to be way easier when you nolife it, sekiro by far has the greatest learning curve of any soulslike and is thus the hardest game.

  5. I played ER as my first soulsborne then played DS1 then demons souls. I killed king allant in first try at level 52. Easy game

  6. Dude I completely agree with this video on basically every single point. I also started with 3 so I feel like you are describing my fromsoft career as well

  7. I played Elden Ring how I played all the Souls games. Two handed claymore and medium armour. My God the game felt impossible at times. Using my typical Dark Souls build made Elden Ring by far the hardest game in the series. But my second playthrough I used moonlight greatsword and Magic. That made the difficulty much easier. It made it much more in line with the rest of the games, if not slightly easier most of the time

  8. Wow! for me Bloodborne was the easiest, no contest. Sekiro was the hardest: for the last few bosses it felt like I had to learn their programing by heart and be near perfect to win + that Demon of Hatred was just ridiculous.

  9. Ds 3 is too easy compared to the others tbh , even if some of the bosses were hard the rolling , healing , simplicity made it much easier

  10. I feel like top 3 I'd go Bloodborne then Elden Ring THEN Sekiro tbh, Sekiro is one of those games where when you master the combat your outplay feels trivial and insane but figuring out all those combos, move cycles, etc are just way harder. Sekiro basically doesn't have i frames in a traditional sense and it's like a hard mode rhythm. Bloodborne is harder than any of the mainline Souls games imo because the bosses are just consistently ass to fight and you can't parry, plus maybe it's just me but i think the i frames are less liberal. Elden Ring may have more noob friendly areas but the peaks in difficulty like far surpass 95% of what you see in other Souls games imo, usually because of bullshit boss designs but still it becomes harder to get into the rhythm and just smoke a boss 0-100.

  11. “Once I understood Sekiro’s combat mechanics it got easier”

Try a charmless run man you will un-understand everything once you get to Gyoubu

  12. Am I crazy, I think sekiro and bloodborne are the easiest souls games

  13. I just commented on one of your videos, good quality btw, and as I've stated there. I'm currently playing my first soulsborne, which is bloodborne but I wouldn't say it's easy of course but I can't say it's that hard either. What I'm sure though is I don't think I'll ever play any of the souls games considering how everyone keeps saying they're slow paced games. Again, you have an amazing channel and very fun to watch videos.

  14. Darks souls Manus is still the hardest boss for me overall and I've played all FromSoft games Demons souls and up.
Small recovery window and high damage, especially in a slower fps game compared to other installments. But that's just me 😊

  15. dark souls 1 is easy af if u know what youre doing, the hardest thing the game is definitly the old clunky and weird mechanics, I cant tell how often i died stupidly compared to other soulsborne games

  16. I personally think Sekiro was the second easiest after Demon’s Souls. Parrying was a brain dead mechanic that made fights feel all the same in difficulty.

  17. Even with summons beating elden ring is so much easier than beating blood borne of the main bosses died twice other than vicar in blood borne and I dint parry or use gun once

  18. Sekiro was my first fromsoft game and I find it the second easiest, with the easiest spot going to bloodborne, idk what’s wrong with me but dark souls 3 kicks my ass every time, I think it’s just because of all the different options they give you, I’m never confident I’m running the right build.

  19. As a aggressive player, (tactic based on reflex of my dodge) with big hype on this game wich is my first fromsoft game.
I find it very easy in comparison to ds1, sekiro and ds3 sometimes

  20. I was pretty into this list, but man… Sekiro isn't a souls game. It's just a fromsoft game, I really don't like when it's 1:1 compared with souls games…

Also, personally, i find it insane to rank DS3 as more difficult than Elden ring, DS3 has like 3½ hard bosses and Elden ring had a good amount more 😛

  21. ds2 is by far the easiest imo
    close to demon's souls
like sure the areas with 20+ enemies can be annoying but with patients it's not a big deal
    and the bosses…….. I thought demon's souls is a joke until I've finished ds2
once you got used to ds2 being a "turn based souls game" and that this also applies to the bosses it literally is childs play

  22. Well, I started with blood borne and then sekiro. I’m pretty sure my friends just wanted to see me suffer

  23. Sekiro will ALWAYS be OBJECTIVELY number one for one simple reason. There is no co-op in the game and no NPC helpers. The game is only about YOUR skill! Which makes it objectively the most difficult. You don't have shields, you don't have co-op, you can't overlevel or find an OP sword.

  24. Honestly. I've gotten to fucking good at Bloodborne. I've managed to kill 2 NPC Hunters plus a real player all in the same fight. I thought there was three NPCs on me at once until he started playing different. Love the game to bits though

  25. Tbh the olrignal Dark souls not remastered one the olrignal Dark souls was probably my hardest Dark souls bc of that damm kalameet dragon. And for dark souls 3 and elder ring I find midir much tougher then malenia

  26. Lords of the Fallen was harder than Bloodborne that was too easy for a vet, Demon souls day one player. Ds2, Elden, Sekiro in all the community can agree those were hard

  27. Nah Elden Ring is the easiest, by just exploring around I accidently over-leveled my character and took out half the boss in the game on my first try. Open world + soulslike = bad.

  28. Sekiro is the hardest for me, it's the only one I haven't beaten yet, and am still working on. I'm so used to Souls, that the combat throws me off.

  29. Bloodborne for me was one of the easiest. Something about the combat just worked for me. The quickstep and trick weapons felt amazing

  30. If Bloodborne is the hardest How come I beat it and not Sekiro? Maybe I should try it again lol

  31. Sekiro is harder than bloodborne… Bloodborne was my first souls game… Tough but i didnt struggle as much as sekiro. In sekiro it took me over 50 tries to beat the final boss.
