Hey Dist, amazing run as usual. I have a question im very curious about – do you now like running scholar more than vanilla ds2? or is this just to get the record for scholar on top of the record for vanilla? or do you prefer scholar now?
I hope when we go to heaven we can just chill and play games. Hopefully i can just sit and work on speedrunnung this games man. I really love the speedrun scene of DS games. Always nuts to see people treat it like its cod on easy mode. Meanwhile i took like weeks to solo every boss but fume knight. I never was able
Fume Knight to me was and is the hardest boss in DS2. I solo every boss except him. Idk he always gave me issues but im ok with it. But i see this guy that walks up naked with a pointy stick and ggwp. Fume Knight was nothin omg. I am afraid of this man. Are you the true Dark Soul?
I will never stop saying how much I love this game, sure it's arbitrarily more difficult due to ADP scaling and some weird bosses, but it was my first and still my favorite souls game
The only souls game I was able to finish ^^ picking elden ring after seeing so many speedruns was easier than playing souls game like a noob and try to kill every mobbs
Would doing the pursuer cheese at the cardinal tower where you jump the ladder save any time in the beginning or do you think that killing him with the ballista is still faster? I’m genuinely curious because you’d get enough souls to get the bright bug and other stuff to get the soul ring and you’d have ring of blades before last giant so it’d make that fight faster too I’m just speculating I don’t know if it would be a time save or not
I totally understand why ds2 Gets the hate it does, I can See where people are coming from, but I absolutely love it, I easily have more hours in ds2 than 1 or 3
Oh baby, we're gonna see sub 2 hours soon, I can feel it. This was a great run, even with a bunch of small errors. I'm really excited to see how you do next.

Once im done with vanilla I'll move on to scholar. This is probably my fave ds game.
