Honestly, you couldn’t go wrong with Persona 5 Royal on any platform. The game itself laid down the gauntlet, actually. Persona 5 Royal’s theme song, Colors Flying High, ends with the phrase “green or blue, red or white, you can’t lose with your colors flying high.”
And so it is. Whether you play it on Xbox or PlayStation, Switch or PC, Persona 5 Royal is an utter masterpiece, and you’re in for one of the best games ever made no matter how you choose to play it.

I have original launch and Royal Edition on PS4 but still yet to finish whole game. Now I will finally force myself to finish it when it launches on Game Pass. I love every part and and moment of this game but I still always drift away on something else. 60 frames is game changer even if it doesnt really show that much on simple turn based RPG. Its still most important upgrade to anything from last gen.
Instead of launching an upgrade and charge for it, they re-leased the game twice. Atlus it’s not that of a pro consumer supporter
After platinum'ing P5 and P5R….. Can confirm P5R is a 10/10.

I just wish I could get rid of the UI. It blocked majority of the screen. Inside palaces, it even distorted the edges of the screen which I hated.
I own the Special Edition of every P5 release (including a PS5 One More Time Edition that will be here this week) and I have purchased the digital version on the PS4.
And I know I will end up buying the Switch version sooner rather than later lol.

I have never understood why this game has gotten so much hype, its amazing what paid strong marketing from a product creation can do for longevity of the product! Every single persona ever has been a horrible slow boring game.

Isn’t turn based gaming being phased out. I wish I could get into turn based but no matter how many times I tried I just never liked it.

This game is great, but my God, is this reviewer overrating it. The game still has problems, from some of its story beats, to its dialogue, and to its pacing, that it holds it back from top tier greatness.
Platinumed P5 on PS4, P5 Royal on PS4…and now I’m going to Platinum P5 Royal on PS5. 😎👍

Bought P5 then P5R on PS4. I’ll be buying the physical Switch version, even though it’s on Gamepass. Portable gaming is the future.
